Substantiation of selecting earth-moving machine parameters
for trench foundations building
The dissertation work is devoted to establishing the laws connecting the characteristics of earth-moving machines designation and the parameters of trench foundations building technological process for giving substantiated technical decisions and tasks for working element desing.
The object of research is the system «driven element of earth-moving machine –technological process» (DEEMM – EP).
In dissertation were used methods mathematical and economical-and-mathematical modeling, morphological analysis, Boolean algebra and theory of the processing experiment.
The tecnological scheme of trench foundation forming review and analysis of earth-moving machine construction were carried out to solve the problem put by. It was determined that in system of DEEMM – EP the most quickly developing and the lowest cost is unit “driven element”. According to State Standard at new design construction we compare construction with construction, meanwhile under such comparison it is possible to make a mistake as long as the part of variants are characterized by parameters of basic machine which do not coincide with parameters of machines using during the other procedures. Therefore it is necessary to compare technological process with technological process and hence to determine characteristics of a new or actual machine.
Use of the economics and mathematical modeling (EMM) at the earth-moving machine characteristics determination allows comparing technological processes, not a machine with machine by means of graph designed and gives the possibility to determine a correlation between system basic quantities of DEEMM – EP. Comparison is carried out according to optimality criterion selected of EMM of trench foundation construction.
Morphology DEEMM, assigned to trench foundation building, was designed and it allows discovering hypothetical structure of driven element which is necessary to take into account at different variants of technological scheme of trench foundation comparing to achieve objectivity of research results.
The optimal technological scheme determination in accordance with EMM and graph designed intends at initial stage determination the optimal characteristics for earth-moving machine and that will form the equipment set for optimal technological process. As the result of this with a purpose of determination of optimal characteristics for penetration rate and realizable capacity the mathematic models of DEEMM movement was developed in this dissertation work. To solve this problem the Lagrange mathematic method of multipliers was used. This method was used as long as interconnection between variable quantities, penetration rate and capacity was determined. The mathematic model investigation allows discovering dependencies that determine characteristics of machines on economic parameters, also design factors and operating conditions in one formula. There was established the interconnection between the development speed and capacity spent for soil breaking in dependence on the driven element motion trajectory, which can be described as a linear, quadratic or cubic dependence.
With a purpose to prove the results received we have done experimental investigations on a full size stand SPU-1 and drilling device BUK-600. As a result of experiments the minimum of specific power intensity and reduced outlay versus to penetration rate value and consumed capacity were uncovered. Taking received dependencies we have determined characteristics and designed technical level and quality charts for trench equipment OTM-4, double-bar machine 2BM, cutterhead RF-600 and trench unit UTF-2.
Developed method can be applied for designing and optimization parameters for other structural and road-making machines, in other words not to be limited by the purpose of the present researches. The method based on determination the optimal characteristics for penetration rate and consumed capacity corresponding to minimal reduced outlay. Then the technological scheme for the process is determined, total reduced outlay is calculated and optimization of technological process of construction of trench foundation is carried out depending on other criterions of optimization. If customization demands in necessary criterion of optimality aren’t satisfied then there is a need to make a fresh account, to return to determination of reduced outlay for earth-moving machines. We have developed recommendations and cited algorithm of determination of optimal characteristics for driven element of earth-moving machines.
Results of research were introduced into educational process in Karaganda State Technical University and were used to give a course «Building machines», «Earth-moving machines», and also during the practical study. Developed engineering method of optimal characteristics of earth-moving machines choice applies during diploma works and course project of the students at the chair «Building and road machines» and was passed to “Institute Gradient project”.
