Методическая разработка внеклассного мероприятия в начальной школе учителя английского языка
Тема: «Merry Christmas»
Тип мероприятия: урок - концерт
Оснащение: мультимедийное оборудование, презентация в электронном виде, декорации, рисунки учащихся.
Цели внеклассного мероприятия:
1. Совершенствование коммуникативно-познавательных умений, направленных на систематизацию и углубление знаний о традициях и обычаях празднования Рождества в Великобритании и других англоговорящих странах;
2.Обмен этими знаниями в условиях иноязычного речевого общения в монологической и диалогической формах.
Задачи:
Образовательные: актуализировать имеющиеся знания у учащихся о традициях и обычаях празднования Рождества.
Развивающие: развивать речевую культуру учащихся, культуру общения
Воспитательные: воспитывать положительное, уважительное отношение к английской культуре, более глубокое осознание своей родной культуры.
Ход мероприятия:
(слайд 1) T: Good morning, children and our guests. Today we are going to have an unusually lesson. Look around our classroom, please! Everything around is very beautiful! There are nice pictures, cards Christmas bells, Christmas tree, Christmas stocking. We are in a solemn and majestic atmosphere of Christmas. Do you know this holiday?
Ch: Yes, we do
T: My friends, today we’ll learn about Christmas traditions, we’ll listen to the music and we’ll sing Christmas songs.
(слайд 2) T: Christmas is very popular holiday in Great Britain, the USA, Canada, Australia and other Christian countries. People celebrate it on December 25. It is religious holiday – the birthday of Jesus Christ. English people have many interesting Christmas traditions. Now my friends tell you shot stories about some of them.
T: (Ilya), tell us about Christmas trees and presents (слайд 3,4)
P1: On Christmas Eve people decorate the evergreen trees. They placed a large shining star at the top of them and many bright shining balls from top to bottom. People buy presents for relatives and friends.
T: (Nastya), tell us about Christmas stockings (слайд 5)
P2: On Christmas Eve children leave their stoking for Santa Claus. He comes at midnight and fills them with toys and other presents. In the morning children get up and unpack their stockings.
T: (Alsu), tell us about Christmas dinner (слайд 6,7,8)
P3: On Christmas Day people have a big dinner. They usually have turkey or goose with vegetables. The main dish of Christmas dinner is Christmas pudding.
T: Now we’ll watch a short plays about Christmas pudding which our children have prepared for us.

Девочка: Hello, my friends! My name is Anne,
I study English and I am happy.
At school I leaned about Christmas
And I decided to cook a dish
For father, mother and my sister.
I won’t tell them, it’s my wish
Let the dish be Christmas pudding.
I just need some fruit to put in:
Девочка вынимает из корзинки по очереди продукты, которые называет, и раскладывает их на столе. (слайд 9)
Девочка: Candied lemon, orange peel,
Raisins, flour and tangerine.
And, of course, two cups of brandy
To make my pudding very tasty/
I just want to make a surprise
For my family, it’s nice!
Девочка достаёт из кармана подковку, монетку, колокольчик и кладёт их на стол. (слайд10)
Девочка:I will take a horseshoe, a penny
And a little silver bell.
And I’ll put them into pudding,
About it I won’t tell.
Not such easy work to bake
This plum pudding, so who,
Who can help me? (слайд 11)
Выбегают три поварёнка
Девочка:Oh! My friends
These three merry cooks
Звучит музыка, поварята исполняют танец, помогают «готовить» пудинг: в чашку сыплют муку, добавляют другие продукты. Девочка кладёт колокольчик, монетку, подковку в пудинг. Ставят готовый пудинг на стол.
Девочка:Thank you, cooks, you are so nice!
Поварята все вместе: Not at all, it’s a pleasure for us!
Поваренок 1: But why have you put a horseshoe into it? (слайд 12)
Девочка:The person who finds it, good luck will meet.
Поваренок 2: And why have you put a coin into it?
Девочка:The person who finds it, lots of wealth will meet
Поваренок 3: And why have you put a bell into it?
Девочка:The person who finds it, lots of fun will meet
На мотив «В лесу родилась ёлочка» все вместе исполняют песню (слайд 13)
Plum pudding hot,

Plum pudding in the pot,

Plum pudding cold,
Plum pudding nine days old!

T: Children often write letters to Santa Claus with their wishes. They believe that while they are sleeping, he comes to visit them and puts sweets and small toys in the children’s stockings.
T: Now we’ll watch a short plays about Santa Claus and his friends which our children have prepared for us.
“Merry Christmas.”
Scene 1 (слайд 15). The elves are doing Christmas presents for children.
The author: It’s Christmas time at the North Pole. It’s Snowing outside and it’s very cold. Brrr… In Santa’s workshop the elves are busy. But it’s Christmas time, so they are very happy! (слайд 16)
Elf 1: Hurry up! Hurry up! Christmas is coming! Christmas is coming!
Elf 2: Christmas is coming! Christmas is near!
Elf 3: Every one cheer!
Scene 2. (Somebody is knocking the door. It’s Peter, a postman. )
Elf 1: Who’s at the door? Who can it be?
Elf 2: Who’s at the door? Open and see!
Elf 3: It’s Peter, the postman!
Peter: Hello everybody!
Elf 1: Hi, Peter! Come in!
Peter: Here you are! This bag’s for you. (Peter’s giving a very big and heavy bag to the elves.)
Elf 1: Elf 2: Elf 3: (hanging the bag and looking at it.)
-It’s very big and heavy, too!
Peter: It’s full of letters from around the world. From every little boy and girl!
Elf 1: (taking out the letters from the bag.) (слайд 17)
-Christmas lists for Santa Claus!
Elf 2: Elf 3: From all the little girls and boys!
Peter: Well, Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you have lots of fun! (Peter’s going out.)
Elf 1: A Merry Christmas to you, too!
Elf 2: Elf 3: Goodbye, Peter. See you soon!
Scene 3. (Attention! Santa appears! )
Santa: Merry Christmas! Ho, ho, ho! It’s nearly time for me to go!
Elf 1: It’s nearly time, Santa Claus.
Elf 2: To visit all the girls and boys.
Santa: (looking at the presents.) Lots and lots of lovely presents! (слайд 18)
Elf 3: They are ready, Santa.
Elf 1: A doll for Mary, a teddy for John.
Elf 2: Time to go, Santa. Please take care!
Santa: Time to fly!
Elf 2: Elf 3: Every thing’s ready, so goodbye!
Elf 1: Elf 2: Elf 3: (are telling a poem “It’s Christmas Time.”) (слайд 19)

Scene 4. (Santa’s reindeer appear and wait for Santa.) (слайд 20)
The author: Santa’s reindeers are waiting outside. They are ready to fly.
Santa’s reindeer: Hello, Santa. Here’s your sleigh!
Santa: Well done, reindeer! Let’s fly away!
Santa: (looking at Rudolph) What about Rudolph? Are you ready to go?
Rudolph: One minute, Santa. Let me make my nose glow!
Reindeer: Rudolph, your nose is so bright tonight!
Rudolph: I’m ready to go, so hold on tight!
Santa and his reindeer: Don’t worry children. We’re on our way. We’ll be there for Christmas Day!
Rudolph: (telling a poem:) (слайд 21)

Scene 5. (слайд 23) The author: Santa’s in the city now. At John and Mary’s house. The children are sleeping in their beds, with two small angels overhead!
The author: (asking Santa) Quiet, Santa! Watch your step! John and Mary are both in bed!
John: Mary! Mary! What’s that noise?
Mary: Maybe it’s Santa with our toys!
Santa: Merry Christmas Mary dear!
Mary: Santa! Wow! You’re really here!
Santa: Merry Christmas, John, my boy! You were good, so here’s your toy!
John: Thank you, Santa. Wow! A teddy! I shall call him Little Eddy!
John, Mary: (giving a cup of milk and cookies to Santa) Some milk and cookies, just for you.
Santa: Now it’s my turn to say thank you!
Santa, John, Mary: singing a song We wish you a Merry Christmas (слайд 24)
T: At Christmas every family sends and receives many cards. My friends will tell us which congratulations we can writer in Christmas card (слайды 25,26,27)
