Industry Leaders Meeting"

We extend the invitation to take part in annual conference "IT-SUMMIT '2013. Industry Leaders Meeting" which will take place on April 3-5, 2013 in Kiev.

The conference purpose – is to sum up IT year results, to discuss the following issues: IT business prospects in terms of the world crisis possibility; efficiency of the Ukrainian and Russian IT industry support measures (VAT cancellation, unified social tax and so forth); potential of large national projects to generate demand for IT; prospects of mutual integration of IT businesses, HR experience in IT companies and other questions.

"IT-SUMMIT '2013" audience – owners and top officials of the largest Russian, Ukrainian and world IT companies, heads of the infrastructure organizations (publishing houses, analytical companies, foundations), State structures influencing IT market.

The "IT-SUMMIT '2013" attention will be focused not on IT itself, but on business in IT sphere – investment efficiency in various segments of IT industry, management, tax administration, entry into new markets, associations, absorptions, HR questions; relations with the State.

Conference format – business program combining plenary reports and discussions with round tables within the cozy club atmosphere.

• April 4 – business part of conference and evening reception.

• April 5 – business part of conference till the afternoon, summing up conference results. Excursion. Small

final buffet reception for the late arrivals.

Preliminary subjects/questions of the IT Summit

- Results and trends of Russian and Ukrainian IT market development within world trends in the previous year. Analytical companies and market participants’ opinions, analyses, forecasts.

- Support measures for IT industry. Experience of Ukraine and Russia (VAT cancellation, unified social tax and so forth). Comparative efficiency. Is it possible to generate large national projects demand for IT? Is the offshore in the CIS possible?

- Distribution development in Russia and Ukraine: volumes forecasts, self-regulation, relations with vendors, penetration prospects. “Author's” collecting. Customs.

- HR: training (from school to High education), State regulation, salaries, recruiting.

- Specifics of big customers and State agencies automation petitions. Is it possible to move market monopolists? Will clouds and outsourcing undermine market monopoly?

- IT retail, networks, Internet shops. Trends. To absorb or to be absorbed?

- Problems, achievements and trends of software development business. Is crises noticeable? In which country is it more comfortable? Are Skolkovo projects necessary for the market?

- What is "a national product"? Will State support help or kill? Are there positive examples?

In the previous years IT Summit took place in historically significant cities of Kazan, Suzdal, St. Petersburg. This year we decided to make the event international, having chosen as a venue the capital of Ukraine - Kiev.
