Teacher: Hello, boys and girls! I am glad to see you here in this hall at the game “The Jungle’s Call”! Are you here? Girls, clap your hands; boys, stamp your feet! And now, keep silent, look, listen and play!
(The music of the “Zoo Song”)
Teacher: What’s this? Do you hear that? Oh, look!
(The dance of jungle animals)
Bird 1: Stop! Stop!
Bird 2: Help! Help us!
Teacher: What’s the matter? Calm down! What happened?
Bird 1: Help! Help! Africa is in danger!
Assistant: Why? Why is Africa in danger?
Bird 2: Because people kill African animals!
Assistant: Why do people kill African animals?
Bird 2: Because they want to get money and people pollute air and rivers!
Assistant: Why do people pollute air and rivers?
Bird 2: Because they don’t know that they must protect the Earth!
Teacher: Well, we must help and teach them! We must go to Africa and protect it! There are three teams: Land, Air, Water. We must cross the rainbow to get to African jungle. We must collect colours and make a rainbow, then we can get to Africa. There are 7 colours in the rainbow. Let’s name them [слайд № 1]
(Pupils name the colours of the rainbow – red, orange, yellow, green, sky-blue, blue, purple)
Teacher: So, there are seven colours and seven tasks on the way to the African jungle. We’ve got coloured cards. Each of you must take one of them. Choose.
(The pupils choose the cards)
Teacher: Now, you’ve got the cards. Please, show me your cards (red, orange, yellow, etc – the colours of the rainbow). Keep the cards – you’ll use them when I say. And now, let’s sing a song “Sing a rainbow” [слайд № 2]
Sing a rainbow
Red and yellow and pink and green,
Purple and orange and blue.
I can sing a rainbow,
Sing a rainbow,
Sing a rainbow too.
Listen with your eyes,
Listen with your eyes,
And sing everything you see.
You can sing a rainbow,
Sing a rainbow.
Sing along with me...
Task I. What’s the matter? What problems are there in African jungle? Let’s clear it up! You are given the text with missing words. Restore the text, fill in the blanks. Then we’ll see what happened in Africa. Red cards come here. It’s your game now.
Mr. Wozz and the children went through the green door. They were in the Green Space Station. They looked at a screen and talked about the Earth‘s problems. «Why is the air brown? » asked Sally, «Because the cars are polluting it», said Mr. Wozz. They saw a man shooting an elephant. He wanted to sell the elephant's tusks. They saw some children in the river. «They are picking up the rubbish, » said Mr. Wozz. «Let's go to Earth and help them», said Rick
· The audience sings the song “Dreams” [слайд № 3]
Dreams
What did you do last night
In your dreams, in your dreams?

Did you fly like a kite?
Did you fight like a dragon?
Did you ride like a knight
In your dreams?
Look at the screen and read [слайд №4] (A pupil from each group reads sentences one by one)
The jury will help us to check the text. The winner gets the first stripe of the rainbow.

A hundred happy jellyfish
We're swimming slowly,
All my friends and me.
A hundred happy jellyfish
Swimming in the sea.
We're running sideways,
All my friends and me.
A hundred happy little crabs
Running in the sea.
We're sitting very still,
All my friends and me.
A hundred happy little clams
Sitting in the sea.
Can you swim like a fish?

And I can too!
Present your posters to us.
Which team’s got a colour?
Task IV. Green teams – come here. And now a funny task – you are given 4 balloons for each team. Burst them, find sentences and put them in the correct order. Read a riddle and name the animal. [слайд № 8]
I’m green and hungry animal
I like a lot of meat
My home is in water
And I have so sharp teeth! (crocodile)
I’m tall and I’m strong
And my neck is very long

Which team has got the blue stripe?
Task VII. And finally, we’re at the last step: say, what we must do in Africa when we come there. Purple teams – come up to me. Make up sentences using the cards and put them in the rainbow order. [слайд № 13]

Teacher: The jury please come up to the teams and check their work.
Which team’s got the last colour? Now, let’s count how many stripes every team has got. Which team’s the winner in our game? Let’s put the colours on the board to make our rainbow. We’ve collected all the colours and made the rainbow. Where are we? Yes, we’re in Africa now. Hooray! I see you can save the African jungle. I am sure you know how to protect our planet Earth. Make up your own posters about the Earth to protect it. I think all of us love our planet and protect it. And we have a surprise for you – tickets to Africa for each team and oranges from our African animals. The End
