Открытый урок по теме “Christmas in Britain” Цель: коммуникативно – речевое развитие учащихся через обобщение знаний о традициях празднования Рождества в Великобритании. Задачи: 1) обобщить грамматический и лексический материал 1 полугодия; 2) обучать устному высказыванию по теме Christmas in Britain; 3) систематезировать страноведческий материал о Великобритании. Оборудование: ARM учителя ХОД УРОКА (с использованием презентации) 1. Организационный момент. Hello boys and girls! Nice to see you again! Today we are going to speak about the traditions of celebratiоn Christmas in Great Britain. But from the very beginning of our lesson I would like to divide you into groups. Take these toys and make your choice. (Ученики выбирают игрушки в соответствии с которыми разделяются на 2 группы) 2. Основной этап урока. Teacher(T.) Let’s begin our game. Who wants to start the Christmas game? Pupils (P.): We do. T.: I think it would be better to choose the group to start the game. Your task is to say the tongue – twister as quickly and as well as you can. Your tongue – twister: If a three – month truce Is a truce in truth, Is the truth of a truce in truth A three – month truce? Ученики выбирают представителя от каждой группы, который должен рассказать эту скороговорку лучше других. Победившая группа начинает игру. T.: Thank you. I think the first group is our first winner. That’s why you can start our Christmas - game. Look at the blackboard: this is our Christmas – tree. But it is not decorated yet. And these are our toys with the tasks. You can choose a toy you like and say what task it has. (слайд с изображением Рождественской Ели, которую необходимо украсить. Игрушки – задания разных цветов содержат задания для выполнения каждой группы) T.: Choose a toy you like. P.1: We like a red bag T.: Take it, please and read the task it has. P.1: OK. Our task is“Hello, dear Santa Claus. T.: Your task is to write a letter to Santa Claus and to ask him for some presents for you and maybe for your relatives and friends. You have five minutes. (Ученики пишут письмо Санта Клаусу в течении пяти минут)(слайд) T.: It’s time to check your letters. I would like the second group to begin reading. P.2: This is our letter: Hello, Dear Santa Claus! How are you? We hope you are fine! We are fine because it’s Christmas time in our country and we enjoy ourselves very much. That’s why we want you to give us as many presents as you can. We would like to have: a nice little fluffy kitten, a parrot in a golden cage, a modern car, a computer, a camera, seven tickets for the concert of B. S., fashion clothes, a lot of money etc. Good bye, dear Santa Claus. ( зачитывают представители каждой группы) T.: Well done! But tell me please, why nobody said: “Thank you dear Santa Claus for all your presents”. If you don’t want to be rude never forget to say: “thank you”. I hope that everything will be OK and you won’t be impolite. Taking into account all your letters I should say that our winner is the third group. That’s why it’s time for you to choose the Christmas present you like. What colour do you like? P.3: We like a stocking and our task is to tell about Christmas traditions in Great Britain. T.: OK. But choose the card with the questions for you to answer. Work in groups.(Ученики продолжают работу в группах. Карточка № 3: 1What does Santa Claus look like? 2. How does Santa Claus travel? 3. How does Santa Claus enter houses to give children Christmas presents and where does he put them? 4. What are the traditional Christmas colours? 5. What is the traditional Christmas food? (слайд) Group 1: Christmas is celebrated on the 25th of December in Britain but in Russia it is celebrated on the 7th of January. Jesus Christ’s birthday is celebrated on Christmas, though the actual date of his birth isn’t known. Germany gave us tradition to decorate the Christmas Tree. The custom of decorating the Christmas Tree with candles and presents was introduced in Britain after Queen Victoria married Prince Albert who was a German. Peter the Great introduced that tradition in Russia. (Каждая группа рассказывает о праздновании Рождества в Великобританни, отвечая на вопросы приведённые в картачках).(слайд) T.: Good work! How clever you are. Give words for “Christmas” (Группы продолжают называть слова, характеризующие Рождество)T.: Well done! T.: Well done! But we have the last one and our task is to celebrate us with Christmas. (Последнее задание - поздравление присутствующих с Рождеством и Новым Годом, это было домашнее задание). (слайд) Group 1: We wish you Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! When you wake up Christmas morning Hope you find beneath the tree So many lovely presents You’ll be happy as can be! Group 3: We wish you Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Hoping Christmas brings All your favourite things! Happy Holidays! T.: Good work! I see You have done you best. And our winner is the third group. Our best congratulation! Учитель подводит итоги конкурса на лучший перевод и иллюстрацию к песне “Jingle Bells”, зачитываются лучшие литературные переводы, победитель награждаются призами, Новогодними и Рождественскими открытками. Литературные переводы к песне “Jingle Bells”. Звенят, звенят бубенчики! Звенят, звенят бубенчики! Звенят на всём пути, В открытых санках едем мы с лошадкой впереди. Лихвой сквозь снег проскочим мы Во поле попадём, Смеяться будем на пути, ни разу не смолкнём. Лошадки хвост подстриженный бубенчики везёт. И почему нам весело никто нас не поймёт. Какое счастье ехать так и петь на всём пути! Играет песенка всё ночь, но слов к нёй не найти! .
