Тема урока: «The place we live in»
Тин и вид урока: урок совершенствования речевых навыков монологической, диалогической речи, аудирования.
Форма урока: традиционная.
Цели:
а) практический компонент: совершенствование речевых навыков
монологической, диалогической речи, аудирования;
б) воспитательный компонент: воспитание патриотизма, гордости за свою
родину;
в)развивающий компонент.: развитие механизма вероятностного прогнозирования, логического мышления, внимания, памяти, речемыслительной активности учащихся;
г) образовательный компонент: расширение кругозора учащихся путём знакомства с традициями, обычаями страны изучаемого языка.
Сопутствующие задачи:
а) совершенствование фонетических навыков;
б) совершенствование грамматических навыков.
Оснащение урока:
1) интерактивная доска;
2) мультимедийная презентация;
3) магнитофон, кассета с записью,
4) доска, мел;
5) ручки, карандаши;
6) раздаточный материал по теме урока (карточки, картинки).
I. Орг. момент: постановка цели урока, установка на
успешную работу.
Good morning, boys and girls! I'm glad to see you today. This lesson we are going to speak about the place we live in. You are going to learn a bit more about a traditional English house, tell about the flat or house where you live, describe your dream house. At the end of the lesson we shall see if there is really no place like home.

You know there are a lot of flats and houses for sale. Here is a dialogue.
Please, read it and make up your own one up to the model.
The model:
-I know you got a new flat. How do you like it?

-How many rooms are there in your flat?
-There are two: a sitting room and a e and see me some
day.
The pupils are making up and telling their dialogues.

You got a new flat. Here is a plan of one of your rooms. Let's furnish the room.

I read the text and you write down where the furniture is. Afterwards we check if you are right.
The text:
There is a bookcase on the right of the door. There is a sofa on the left of the door. There are two armchairs on the left of the sofa. There is a carpet in the middle of the room. There are three chairs near the table. There is a TV in the right corner of the room. There is a mirror in the left corner of the room.
