2. Foreword
This manual generally describes the ”Manager 300P” Power Management System and provides information regarding configuration, lay-out and basic functions of the system.
3. Configuration
· S6000 generator protection unit, production of Selco (Denmark);
· Synchronyser FAS 113DG , production of Deif (Denmark) ;
· DG control unit (DGCU) based on microprocessor modular set Manager 300, production of Marine Bridge & Navigation Systems (Russia);
· System control unit (SCUDG) based on TSX Micro controller, production of Schneider Electric, France;
· Magelis touch screen control and monitoring panel, production of Schneider Electric, France;
4. Units basic functions
4.2. Generator protection unit S6000

· Electrical parameters measuring:
- three phase generator voltage;
- three phase generator current;
- three phase cosφ;
· Generator protections:
- short circuit;
- overload;
- overcurrent;
- reverse power;
- non essential load shedding.
· Electrical parameters transmission to CAN bus.
4.3. DG Control unit (DGCU)

· Prime engine protections:
- lub oil pressure;
- water temperature.
· Canceling a. m. protections;
· Automatic and remote DG start and stop;
· Cyclic prelubrication of prime engine;
· Automatic DG synchronization;
· Active load sharing;
· Keeping of network frequency in specified limits;
· CANopen communication;
· Installed CAN Bridge module provides:
- Galvanic isolation of two CAN buses;
- Coupling the buses with different baud rates;
- Conversion bus topology to star.
4.4. DG System control unit (SCUDG)
· Heavy consumer start inhibition if power reserve is insufficient at request receipt;
· Stand-by DG (DGs) start if power reserve is less than specified value or heavy consumer
start request;
· DG stopping with preliminary unloading and disconnection if total power is less than
specified value;
· DG low load stop blocking;
· DG stand-by start if operating DG is faulty. Unloading, disconnection and stopping of
faulty DG after connection of stand-by one;
· Stand-by DG (DGs) priority definition;
· Communication to panel and DGCU’s ;
· Parameters modification from the panel;
4.5. Magelis control and monitoring panel

· Provides:
- Alarm summary pages ;
- Alarm history pages;
- Mimic diagram pages ;
- Trend pages;
- Touch screen control functions;
- SCUDG communication by RS-485 (UNI-TELWAY protocol);
- Parameters modification.
