REGULATIONS
ON THE FIRST INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF SOCIAL TECHNOLOGIES IN SUPPORT OF FAMILY VALUES
«PRO-LIFE – 2010»
This Festival is held by All Russian Pro-life and Pro-family Public Organization (an official partner of Fund for Social and Cultural Initiatives headed by Svetlana Medvedeva, wife of RF president) on the basis of Give Me Life campaign.
Festival Location:
bld. 158, Solyut Hotel, Leninsky prospect, Moscow (http://www. *****/eng/).
Festival Date: July 23-24, 2010.
Background: The initiative of this Festival is a logical outcome of the annual meetings presented by regional crisis pregnancy centers, public organizations and pro-life advocates of unborn children. The meetings have been held more than 8 years by Moscow medical and awareness center LIFE (its leader is protopriest Maksim Obukhov).
Since 2007 such annual meetings have the status of regular congresses of All Russian Pro-life and Pro-family Public Organization founded in that year with branches and departments in more than 50 regions of the Russian Federation and coordinators in the countries of the former Soviet Union.
2010 - Fist Festival
This Festival will be held in the year of the 65th anniversary of the Great Victory in WWII. In 1945 among other things allied countries defended traditional family values since national socialism based on social Darwinism and eugenics contained in its military policy doctrine so called “humanitarian” genocide of conquered races due to reduction of population through abortion, contraception, sterilization and unbearable social and economic conditions for families with many children.
2010 is also an anniversary of some historic events which changed the world being although not very noticed by wide public conscience. These events are:
The 90th anniversary of the abortion legalization in Russia by the government of V. I. Lenin and the 55th anniversary of abortion re-legalization by the government of N. S. Khruschev after Stalin abortion ban in 1936.
The 50th anniversary of The Pill at the USA and Europe markets which initiated a vivid campaign of sexual revolution resulted in the ruin of family basis and legalization of abortion on the West. As Bayer Schering Pharma company announces in its advertisements “Neither Einstein’s theory of relativity nor A-bomb nor even computers or the Internet has influenced the 20 century like The Pill”. US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced its celebration on May the 9th which is not only the date of the Great Victory in the former USSR countries but also Mother’s Day in the USA.
International status: The foreign pro-family religious and public organizations from such countries as Canada, Croatia, Czechia, Finland, Great Britain, Poland, US as well as pro-life representatives from Belorussia and Ukraine are invited to the Festival Pro-life-2010.
Festival Concept
Problem setting. Family in modern post-Christian countries is now in deep crisis due to loss of traditional family values. It is unable to deliver its key social function i. e. giving birth and upbringing kids which is proved by unambiguous birthrate statistics saying of failure to ensure mere reproduction of generations.
Most disastrous component of this crisis is a legal and voluntary pre-natal murder of unborn children which is an action of right to life and saint baptism deny through surgical and medicated abortions as well as abortifacient contraception. As for abortions in Russia there are 1.4 million surgical abortions only in Minzdravsotsrazvitie (Department of Health and Welfare) facilities and 9 million women using Intrauterine devices (IUD) and hormonal contraceptives * excluding operations in private clinics and medicated abortions out of official statistics. As per reviews only 1 baby is born vs. 7-10 conceived in Russia. This situation cannot but lead to psychic, personal and social disasters.
On a national basis resignation from birth giving inevitably leads to demographic crisis and geopolitical collapse which all Eurasia and World social layers and nations will suffer.
Unfortunately, so far instead of creation of good conditions for increase of large families which has been a natural and secure way to ensure demographic stability throughout all mankind history, modern international elite prefer investing of finance and administrative resources in development of antifamily systems for birthrate control and upbringing of new generations such as family planning, associated reproductive and juvenile technologies. In future development of cloning, gene and digital technologies may lead to attempts of mass production of artificial creatures to displace human beings.
This Festival appeals to demonstrate effective social technologies targeted at protection of rights to life of unborn babies and abortions prevention within support of traditional family values. They are chastity and abstinence before marriage, marital fidelity, large families, sanctity of human life from the moment of conception and respect of parents.
The goal of the Festival is to bring wide public attention to the need of implementation of social policy targeted at strengthening of family institute, birthrate rise and overcoming of demographic crisis; reduction and future ban of induced abortions, termination of antifamily state programs and thus to prevent geopolitical collapse of the countries losing natural mechanism of reproduction.
The objectives of the Festival is to identify, present and promote best practices of social technologies, share experience and challenge activities of state and public organization in terms of protection of rights to life of unborn and traditional family values.
This Festival will present
Social technologies for arrangement of crisis pregnancy centers, welfare support, psychological and legal assistance to pregnant women and families with children, therapy of post abortion syndrome, pro-life awareness activities, social advertising and human rights work. Within the scope of this Festival we arrange master classes, seminars, performances and street campaigns for the rights to life of unborn babies and support of traditional family values.
Key participants and nominees of the Festival will be public, religious and state organizations and individuals from Russia, CIS countries and far abroad countries promoting support of pro-life and traditional family values.
Festival Nominations

Publishing on campaigns of pro-life organization and abortions issue:

Winners of the competition program - finalist will be awarded with Festival diplomas and valuable prizes.

The Grand prize of the Festival will be awarded for the best project of 2010 pro-life campaign.
