Тема: « Братья наши меньшие»
Цель: развитие познавательной и личностной деятельности учащихся через творческий поиск.
Задачи урока:
1.Практические: совершенствовать
а) навыки неподготовленной речи на базе темы
б) навыки чтения с общим пониманием содержания
в) навыки монологической и диалогической речи
2. Развивающие:
а) развивать интерес у учащихся к овладению новыми знаниями
б) учить учащихся анализировать, сравнивать, делать выводы
в) обучить основам проектирования
3.Образовательные:
а) расширить кругозор учащихся по данной теме
4.Воспитательные: воспитывать
а) чувство ответственности за сохранение животного мира
б) умение слушать, общаться, вести диалог, уважать мнение других
в) доброжелательность, сердечность и заботу о животных
г) умение ставить задачи и добиваться их осуществления
д) готовность к самоанализу и самопознанию
Оборудование: магнитофон, кассета к уроку, мультимедийная презентация, раздаточный материал, изделия из слоновой кости.

Let’s start our lesson. I don’t want to announce today’s topic. You’ll do it yourselves at the end of our lesson, as I don’t know in what way the discussion will develop.
I. Inductor (Индуктор) ( Voices of animals in the forest -multimedia) – (Кадр 1)
Shut your eyes and listen to sounds. What did you imagine while listening to the sounds of the forest?
II. Actualization. ( Актуализация)
What do animals mean for you?
How did they appear in human’s life?
What for did the man harness the animals?
Are they still used for the sake of people? Where?
III. Break. (Разрыв) ( work in group)
Discuss in pairs: who wins more in this partnership a man or a pat. In a minute change your interlocutors and share your ideas with them. After that make up the idea of the group, choose who’ll express it.
(Students propose their ideas and express their opinion to the proposals of other groups)
Now read these short texts, don’t go into details, find only proofs that people need pets very much. Work in groups. (2 minutes)

2. Some people keep exotic animals as pets at home. Why?

2.Why should we take such measures? Why are wild animals in danger?
Which of them are?
( Students name the animals)
Look at these things ( teacher gives to every group things made of ivory)
What is it? Any guesses?
What is it made of? Is it worthy of killing a whole elephant to get a little ivory?
3.We are approaching another problem: hunting… What is it? Is it killing or spending nice leisure time?
