Обучение аудированию.
Цели урока:
- развитие навыка аудирования;
- развитие навыков говорения на основе прослушанного текста.
Ход урока:
I. Речевая разминка.
Учитель задает вопросы о том, как дети обращаются с деньгами.
- Do you have pocket money?
- How much money have you got?
- Who usually gives you pocket money?
- Have you ever earned money by yourself?
- How do you spend your money? What do you usually buy?
- Do you try to save money?
II. The topic of the lesson.
- Today we are going to listen to a story about a man called Henry who wanted to save five pounds. At the end of the lesson you will try to play out dialogues from the story.
III. Аудирование текста.
1. Работа со словами.
T. – Look at the blackboard and read the title, please.
( на доске написан заголовок рассказа:
“ How He Saved 5 Pounds “. )
T. – I think the title of the story is quite clear, isn’t it? Can you suggest what the story is about?
Ps: ………………………………………………………………………………..
T. – Well, do you want to know how Henry saved 5 pounds? Before listening to the story I want you to learn and remember the difficult words you can meet in the story.
На доске написаны слова:
To do sightseeing – осматривать достопримечательности
Greedy - жадный, скупой
To take a chance - воспользоваться случаем
Dr. Martin Smith
The first visit - первое посещение
Later visits - последующие посещения
T. – Let’s read and translate these words.
T. – Translate my word combinations from Russian into English:
- воспользоваться случаем, чтобы осмотреть достопримечательности
to take a chance to do sightseeing
- был немного скупой
was a little greedy
- платить за первое посещение
to pay for the first visit
- платить за последующие посещения
to pay for later visits
2. Первое прослушивание текста.
T. – Now listen to the story and after listening I want you to answer the question:
How much did the patients pay to Dr. Smith?
Ученики слушают текст и отвечают на вопрос.
P. – Dr. Smith’s patients paid him 15 pounds for their first visit to him and 10 pounds for later visits.
T. – Did Henry save 5 pounds?
P. – No, he didn’t.
3. Второе прослушивание текста.
T. – Now I give you the tests. You will listen to the text for the second time and do the test. Read the task and be sure it is clear for you. I give 20 seconds to read the task.
Ученики слушают текст второй раз и выполняют тест. После выполнения теста учитель открывает ключ и все вместе проверяют выполнение теста.
T. – Now let’s check your answers and correct the wrong statements.
IV. Тренировка в ответах на вопросы по содержанию прослушанного текста.
T. – Now we are going to the questions according to the text. Would you like to listen to the text one more time? ( раздаю вопросы ).
Можно прослушать текст еще раз, если ученики хотят.
T. – Now let’s answer the questions.

V. Тренировка навыков диалогической речи.
T. – Work in pairs and think of the dialogues between:
- Henry and his friend about the future trip;
- Henry and the clerk at the hotel;
- Henry and Dr. Smith.
Раздаю карточки c темой диалога и со словами. ( вытаскивают наугад ).
T. – In your dialogues you may use these words and word combinations.
You have 3 – 5 minutes to make up a dialogue.
Слушаем диалоги.
VI. Итоги урока.
T. – Well done, pupils. You have worked hard today. At home I ask you to prepare the retelling of the story “ How He Saved 5 Pounds “.
