I am glad to see you today. It’s time to start our lesson.
1 слайд – Do you like cinema? I do!
Can you guess what my favourite genre is?
You are watching the videos from the films of this genre.
I believe you know these videos for sure, so I’d like you to answer some questions. You should name the title of the film and you raise the card with the correct variant.

Can you guess my favourite genre? It’s musical.
Today we are going to talk about various cinematographic genres. I would like you to speak about your favourite genres.
3 слайд – First of all let’s revise some words from the sphere of cinematograph. We’ll start with the word-building training.
Do you know any suffixes that help us to form a noun from a verb? At the screen you can see the verb “to write”. Which suffix helps to produce the noun – the name of the profession?
It’s the suffix –er, or its variant –or.
Let’s build some other nouns.
4 слайд – Well done! Let’s make this task a bit more difficult.
We can form different nouns from the same verb using different suffixes. The suffix –tion helps to build another noun “edition”.
Let’s form 2 different nouns from each verb.
