Recommendations for Transit from Sheremetyevo-2 (International)
to Sheremetyevo-1 (domestic) terminals.
1. The most reliable way to travel is to arrange transit via your travel agency in your home country.
2. If the time between your connection flights is less than 4 hours, it is recommended to check-in your luggage to the final destination (Saint Petersburg). Ask assistance on board with your transfer. They may arrange a special transportation with passing through customs at the Sheremetievo-1 (domestic) airport which is more convenient and may save some time.
3. If you have checked-in your luggage to Moscow, pick up it in Sheremetyevo-2, go through customs and look for the booth “Transit / Транзит” in the arrival hall, between two main exits, see the picture below.
