Leaders of any successful enterprise must build management process at the appropriate level. This will help to achieve better performance and will allocate their resources more appropriately. To do this, the company must continually improve their management activities, increase its efficiency. This is the relevance of this research topic, because we all know that domestic production is not always full use of different management factors aimed at improving the governance structure, improve its effectiveness, including the introduction of modern enterprise management and new technologies.

 In a broader sense, the relevance of this study is due to the following circumstances:

-The need to study and comprehensive analysis and evaluation of the strategic management of nuclear power at the present stage of development of the Russian economy;

- The need to improve the management mechanism for the benefit of globalization and strengthening the position of the Russian Federation in the international arena.

To achieve the goals were set and solved the following problems:

- To analyze the history of the Russian nuclear industry;

- To analyze the focus of scientific and technological development of the nuclear industry in the Russian Federation

- To determine the economic content of the strategic management of nuclear power in Russia;

- Using the results of the State Corporation "Rosatom" analyze the changes in the control system

- Identify promising areas of development scenarios and strategic management in the nuclear industry

- To prove practical recommendations to improve the mechanism of strategic management of nuclear power in Russia;

The object of study is the Russian nuclear power industry (represented by the State Corporation "Rosatom") as an economic system, which is the object of control

The subject of the study - the mechanism, tools and technologies to ensure effective strategic management in the context of globalization of economic processes in the Russian nuclear industry.

The methodological basis of the study was a book about the history of the nuclear industry, articles on the current state of the nuclear industry, as well as the program of innovation development and technological modernization of the State Corporation "Rosatom" for the period up to 2020, materials and scientific and practical conferences and seminars.

The information base for the study are the materials of the State Corporation "Rosatom", the Russian and foreign press, the scientific and practical conferences and seminars, these consulting companies and news agencies on the Internet.

Strategic Management - an action that leads to long-term performance of the company exceeded above the competition. Strategic management - is the management that relies on human potential as the basis of the organization is the management of an enterprise focuses on the needs of consumers, always conducts timely changes in the organization, all of which enables an organization to survive in the long term, while achieving their goals.

Thus, to evaluate the effectiveness of strategic management, we will from all directions that characterize the activities of the company as a whole.

The basis of this research work, we have taken the direction of determining the effectiveness of strategic management in the picture 1. The final part of our study focuses on the analysis of the items of our scheme by comparing planned and actual results of the State Corporation "Rosatom". The sources of this analysis are Rosatom reports for 2011 and 2012, articles and interviews.

At the end of 2012 of the State Corporation "Rosatom" has 37 federal state unitary enterprise, the authorized capital of which isrubles, 6 private institutions, and 25 joint-stock companies whose shares are owned by the State Corporation "Rosatom", the value of the shares is , 8 million.

In the direction of the nuclear energy industry have gained the planned target to reduce unit operating costs per 1 kW-h, - 2.5% compared with 2011. The unit costs at constant prices accounted for 90% of the 2008 level. This corresponds to the indicators identified in the program of the State Corporation "Rosatom" for the long term.

Generation of electricity by nuclear power plants amounted to 177.3 billion kWh. This is more than the target of 0.9%.

The financial plan of the State Corporation "Rosatom" in 2012, is made with respect to revenues (revenue growth of 0.2%) and in terms of costs (cost reduction of 1.7%). Reallocation of lines of section 7 of the financial plan in 2012 amounted to 586.5 million rubles for the established supervisory board limit of 750 million rubles (5% of the total limit under section 7).

The deficit of the financial plan of the State Corporation "Rosatom" for the year 2012 of $ 2.7 billion is covered by cash balances of previous years and the non-financial assets.

The analysis of the balance sheet shows that the level of liquidity and solvency are within acceptable values.

Financial performance of the State Corporation "Rosatom" is reflected in the statement of income in the amount of $million rubles

Key performance indicators in 2012, works to ensure the growth of the production of electricity from nuclear power:

- The actual amount of electricity Russian nuclear power plants amounted to 177.3 billion kWh (100.8% of the balance of the Federal Tariff Service of Russia and 102.7% over the same indicator in 2011);

- The actual amount of electricity deliveries amounted to 165.727 billion kWh (101.86% of the FTS of Russia approved the balance sheet and 102.57% of the actual amount for 2011);

- The capacity factor was 80.86%.

In 2012, the State Corporation "Rosatom" and its organizations went implementation and development of the Unified performance management system ("RECORD"). In late 2012, the system consisted of 22,979 employees of the nuclear industry. This system allows to evaluate the efficiency of the employees, to manage the development of competencies form the primary pool of candidates in the reserve and other special programs.

As a result of implementation of the 2012 Programme of formation of the system of corporate knowledge management for . created the necessary conditions for the growth of innovative activity in the nuclear industry. Carrying out activities of the program ensured the growth of inventive activity (in 2012 filed 466 patent applications for inventions and utility models, 74 applications for state registration of computer programs and databases, decorated 266 of know-how)/.

The main events in 2012 in the sphere of foreign nuclear power plant construction are the completion phase of the "energy start-up and development of the 100% design capacity" at Bushehr (Iran), the completion of construction in December 2012. the first unit of Kudankulam nuclear power plant (India). As part of the intergovernmental agreement signed by the general contract for the construction of nuclear power plants Ostrovetskaya (Belarus). In general, SC "Rosatom" currently has 19 signed contracts for the construction of nuclear power plants, among which is also China (Taiwan 3-4 unit nuclear power plant), Turkey, Vietnam, Bangladesh - the first nuclear power plant.

On block innovation management provided 100 per cent implementation of key projects implemented by organizations of the State Corporation "Rosatom" (federal target programs and projects and presidential), and 100 per cent of international obligations in the field of scientific and technical cooperation.

The main results of the work in this area were:

- Modernization and technical re-equipment of the major industrial complexes;

- The development of the four world-class technologies.

In 2012, surpassed the main indicators of the Program for the creation and development of MIYAU MiFi for educational, research, and international financial and economic activity. The increase in sales of innovative and Refine products and services each year at constant prices in 2012 was 23.2% compared to 2008, exceeding the target by 2.6%

There is a realization of social policy in the sector through corporate social programs.

According to the results of the current activities in 2012 in an agreement on health and safety, collective agreements and various work plans were made in 1334 of measures aimed at improving the working conditions of the nuclear industry.

 It was decided 9, 5 thousand local regulations pertaining to the provision of safe employment of workers.

In 2012, as part of the Unified Social Policy State Corporation "Rosatom" continued standardization of social programs, endorsed by another program "Support for pensioners", which aims at improving the targeting and relevance of support.

According to the results of SC Rosatom all the planned activities for 2012 are considered fulfilled, moreover, as we have seen, the vast majority of quantitative and qualitative indicators are better that he can not talk about improving the quality of management of the company in the long term
