Цели:

- учебный аспект

1. создавать условия для развития у учащихся компетентностей: учебно-познавательной, информационной, коммуникативной; развивать речевые умения в диалогической форме.

2. Научить владеть способами взаимодействия с окружающими людьми, научить умению задавать вопросы, корректно вести учебный диалог; осуществлять продуктивную речевую деятельность.

3. Активизировать употребление ранее изученной лексики в речи учащихся.

4. совершенствовать навыки речевой деятельности учащихся.

5. формировать у учащихся универсальные учебные действия (УУД).

- познавательный аспект – расширить страноведческий кругозор учащихся по теме «Достопримечательности Лондона»

- развивающий аспект – развитие способности к общению.

- воспитательный аспект – воспитание субъекта межкультурного взаимодействия

Планируемые результаты:

Личностные:

- способствовать формированию у учащихся универсальных учебных действий (УУД) с помощью создания ментальных карт;

- способствовать воспитанию положительного отношения к стране изучаемого языка с помощью подбора материала к уроку;

-  способствовать формированию гражданской идентичности и развитию патриотизма учащихся;

I.  Организационный момент.

Teacher: Good morning boys and girls. I’m glad to see you. How are you?

Today we are going to have an interesting trip together. Guess what city we are going to travel to? Look at the pictures and guess what city is worth visiting today?

Teacher: So the theme of our lesson is “Is London worth visiting?”. I invite you to travel to the capital of the United Kingdom. What are we going to do at our lesson? Students, today we are going to travel to London. We will remember about places of interest in this city. We will do a mind map (ментальная карта), what help you to tell about London.

I gave you sheets of paper with the key-question “Is it worth visiting London?”

During the lesson we will fill this map with places of interest of London, famous people or phrases, which are connected with this city. Finally you can easily tell about London and its places of interest.

II. Речевая разминка.

Teacher: Last lessons we learned some facts about London, some places of interest in that city, some famous people. Tell me, would you like to travel to London? If you are in London, where can you go?

Teacher: You know there is lots to do in London and you can always have good time there. But I think there is much to see in our town too. Is Belgorod worth visiting?

So I propose you to create a tour agency and invite our foreign friends to come to our town. Every guide should know a lot about the history of the town, the biographies of famous people and other things.

Belgorod is very old and it is a town to see. There are many different reasons for visiting our town. Try to persuade tourists to make a tour of Belgorod.

Task 1. Fill “Word Web”. Name some reasons for visiting Belgorod. There are some phrases on your tables. Some of them are extra.

Teacher: The tourists and guests may ask you a lot of questions and you should know how to answer them.

Task 3. Now I’ll organize “Blitz-Info”. Give me the answers to the following questions.

What is the symbol of our town?

What is Belgorod famous for?

Has Belgorod got many old fine buildings?

Is Belgorod a tourist centre?

Is Belgorod an ancient town with a unique history?

Teacher: Every year a lot of tourists from different parts of Russia and abroad come to our town.

Task 4. Now I’ll give you the task to make a Programme of three day Tour of Belgorod.

IV. Заключительная часть урока

Teacher: I hope all of you have got very useful information about our ancient town Belgorod. Maybe, you won’t be tourist managers or guides, but all of you should know the history of your homeland. You should love your native Motherland, your native town Belgorod. Because, as the great poet Byron said “He, who loves not his country, can love nothing”.

Children! I’m very pleased with your work today. I’ll give you only good and excellent marks. Thank you.

You homework for the next lesson is to write a letter to your friend from England about you native town Belgorod.
