Тема: Моя школа

Задачи: 1. практическая: систематизировать лексический и грамматический материал по теме.

2. образовательная: развивать навыки устной речи (защита тематических плакатов)

3. развивающая: развивать навыки проектной технологии (определение темы, планирование, распределение задач и обязанностей между участниками группы).

4. воспитательная: воспитывать чувство гордости за свою школу, бережное отношение к школьному имуществу.

Ход урока

1. Начало урока. Вступительное слово учителя.

Today our lesson is all about our school. First some questions to refresh your memory.

1)  What is your right as a citizen of Russia?

2)  How many years of classes are compulsory?

3)  How long have you been in primary school?

4)  What is your favourite subject?

5)  Do you like your class?

6)  Can you describe your school?

2. Фонетическая зарядка.

Учитель: Can you guess the riddles about school?

(Учащиеся читают загадки на доске).

1)  What word of three syllables contains twenty-six letters? (Alphabet)

2)  In my house there is a smaller house with windows and doors and the only one person living in it – knowledge. (a bookcase)

3)  What is it that can carry a message to anybody in any town? (a letter).

Учитель: You have some poems about school. Recite them please.

Ученик: My school.

I love my school

I love it very much.

I read and write,

3. Презентация проектов. Защита плакатов.

Учитель: Look again at the material you have prepared and think about the layout of your poster so that it looks friendly. Show your poster to other students and the teacher.

1.  Плакат My school(моя школа)

Ученик1: Our school is not very big. It is a 3-storeyed building. More than 600 pupils study at our school. There is a cloakroom, a gym on the ground floor. Besides, there are many classrooms for younger pupils here. You can also find here the headmaster’s office.

On the first floor there are two classrooms for Mathematics. They have everything necessary for studies. Here you can find classrooms for Physics, Geography, and a very good classroom for studying Chemistry.

As for the second floor, here you can find classrooms for senior students. Here we have lessons of Literature, History, and Mathematics. Our English classroom is on the second floor too.

Ученик1: Is there any stadium at your school?

Ученик2: Yes, there is s big stadium in the yard. We have our physical training lessons there in spring and autumn.

Ученик3: Is there any garden in the yard of the school?

Ученик1: The garden is in the yard of the school, in front of it!

2.  Плакат My favourite teachers, my favourite subjects (любимые учителя, предметы)

Ученик4: I have a lot of subjects at school. But my favourite subject is English. I am not very good at Physics. I like to learn new words, dramatize texts and dialogues. I am fond of English lessons. They are very interesting. We read texts, speak English, listen to the cassettes. We learn a lot of facts about English-speaking countries, about traditions and customs of their people. We read about famous people, speak about writers and read extracts from their books.

Ученик5: As for me, I have a lot of favourite teachers. They are clever and kind, strict and creative. I respect them very much. But now I’d like to tell about our Russian teacher, Lubov Chernyavskaya. She has been working at school for more than thirty years. She wants their students to know and love Russian literature, to be proud at Russian writers. She is dedicated and hardworking.

- English is becoming a global language.
