The conference “Environment. Technology. Resources.” has been held every second year since 1997.

It attracts scientists from higher education and scientific establishments from Latvia and abroad and offers presentations of scientific achievements as well as exhibits technologies, literature and equipment in the wide range of environmental problems.

The working languages of the conference are

Latvian, English, Russian

Important deadlines:

1) Registration: 01.12.2010. (http://*****. lv/index. php? lang=en&p=register)

2) Submission of abstracts (up to 300 words): 20.12.2010.

3) Notification of acceptance with request of full text: 15.01.2011.

4) Submission of full printable text of paper in ENGLISH: 01.03.2011.

5) Notification about review results and final acceptance: 15.04.2011.

6) Conference fee must be paid up to 01.03.2011.

We ask authors to observe the abstract and full report submission deadlines.

The organizing committee will not accept submissions sent after the deadlines.

Publication

Participants are invited to give a talk (up to 20 minutes) or a poster presentation. Participants are also invited to take part in exhibitions and presentations of production

All reports will be reviewed anonymously by independent reviewers.

Accepted conference reports will be published in the conference proceedings “Environment. Technology. Resources” (ISSN ), before the conference in ENGLISH.

The collected articles will be included in the publicly available data basis of Rezekne Higher Educational Institution in PDF format. (http://*****. lv/)

If there will be flaws in the report which is possible to eliminate the authors will have an opportunity to submit corrected reports no later than 01.05.2011. After this date no one report will be accepted.

Regardless of a negative review the authors have opportunity to give a talk in the conference, but the report will be not published in the proceedings.

Conference fee

1. The participation fee of the conference is 90 LVL (130 EUR) that includes all the expenses on the reviewing of the paper, the publication of conference papers, the materials of conference participants, coffee breaks and the evening party.

2. The co-authors who would like to have the collected articles, the materials of conference participants and to participate at the evening party have to pay 50 LVL (75 EUR).

3. If one author would like to have two papers published, s/he has to pay 30 LVL (45 EUR) for the publication of the second paper, if s/he would like to have one more copy of the collected articles, s/he has to pay 45 LVL (65 EUR).

4. If the author would like only to have the paper published and to receive the collected articles (that will be mailed by post), s/he has to pay 60 LVL (85 EUR).

5. The proceedings of conference will be available during the conference for 15 LVL

6. Payment for the conference events and an excursion will be made during the conference.
Participation fee does not include travel expenses and staying in the hotels.
