The chemical industry is one of the priority industry branches determining the state and perspectives of scientific and technical progress.

By 2015, in accordance with the main trends in strategic development of the industry branch, an increase in production volumes is planned for the most important chemical products based on reforming, technical re-equipping and establishment of new productions with the use of the latest achievements of domestic and foreign science and technology. A very important trend in the development of this industry branch is the maximal use of existing production and scientific-technical potential.

St. Petersburg is the centre of chemical science and industry where dozens of production and trade enterprises of chemical, petrochemical and agrochemical industries operate. The city is also a leading Russian centre for fundamental and applied chemical science, conducting projects on the modernisation of chemical and petrochemical enterprises and the development of new processes, new materials, and waste processing that are well-known not only in this country, but also around the world.

We are glad to invite you to take part in the exhibitions for chemical industry and science".The exhibition Corrosion Protection has been carrying out for over 25 years in St. Petersburg – one of the largest industrial centers of North-West Russia. This is a large – scaled and highly required by specialists event. The corrosion-inhibiting protection of buildings, constructions and technological equipment is one of the most acute scientific-technical, economic and ecological issues particularly for industrial developed countries.

New scientific and technical achievements on this field are intended to ensure our industry and economy, efficient saving of capitals, raising of man-caused and environmental safety and subsequent progress on the relevant stage of development. As the most effective corrosion materials we used lacquers and paints. Production of paintwork materials and coatings is one of most dynamically developing sectors of the chemical industry. St. Petersburg and all North-West region are the leading center shipbuilding, machine building and metall processing industry in Russia. The “Corrosion protection” and “Lacquers, paints and coatings” exhibitions subjects are very actual. Now there is a great interest and needs in anticorrosion technologies and materials for chemical and petrochemical industry, utilizing aggersive environments and also important for shippbuillding, machine building, automative construction, public housing.

The international exhibition "Corrosion Protection" have already been held for more than 25 years in St. Petersburg at Lenexpo, the biggest exhibition centre in the Northwest region. The exhibitions have received recognition from domestic and world-famous foreign companies for their contribution to the development of cooperation between leading foreign and Russian companies, specialists and theoretical scientists and for the demonstration of the latest achievements of chemical industry and their use in various industry branches.

In the same time will be held the biggest welding exhibition in Russia 14-th International exhibition “Svarka/Welding 2010”

Procedure of the participation:

Application forms (1) for participation in 2 equally valid copies are to reach till April 30, 2010.

The exhibitions space:

Organizer offers well equipped constructed booths, indoor and outdoor raw space to display exhibits and other services. Orders for exhibition space, the furnished constructed booth and services are to be placed with Organizer till April 30, 2010. The total rent for the leased exhibition space and furnished constructed booth and other services are to be placed with Organizer till April 30, 2010. The total rent for the leased exhibition space and furnished constructed booth and other services are to be remitted by the Exhibitor to Organizer’s bank account till May 5, 2010. Prices for the services, rendered to the participants of the fair are indicated in the «Rates for the Services...» (see enclosure).

The Exhibitor is to inform the names of persons authorized to sign financial documents at the fair till April 30, 2010.

The representative of the firm is to submit Authorization for the right to sign financial documents at the exhibition.

Mounting and dismantling:

The Exhibitor will be able commence mounting on May 16, 2010 and complete not later than 24 hours before the opening of the fair. Dismantling is to be begun after closing of the fair and to be completed not later than May 22, 2010.The participant is to place information of the company in the fair catalogue. In order to registrate in the catalogue the exhibitor is to fulfil and place with the Organizers the Catalogue Entry Form 1-2 till April 30, 2010.

Payments for booth construction and furniture are to be made directly to «Expoforma» in accordance with the Application of exhibitor and invoices of house contractor.

Forwarding Operatios:

All transport-forwarding services and execution of connected with these services, customs formalities and operations at exhibition in St. Petersburg and other places might be done only by Joint-Stock «PAN-BALTService», which has exclusive right for execution of these operations at the exhibition complеx «Lenexpo». Exhibitors or their forwarders are obliged to perform a separate contract with JS «PAN-BALTService» for execution of above mentionned services till April 30, 2010.

Entry to Russia, Execution of Exhibition Documents:

Accomodation and service for the foreign exhibitors and personnel of the exhibition are held by Organizers. Orders for booked accomodation, services, cultural programme, etc. are to be placed with the Organizer not later than April 30, 2010.

To obtain entry visas and execute exhibition documents ot the trip to St. Petersburg, the Exhibitor is to contact with Organizer not later than April 16, 2010. After arrival the Exhibitor is to inform Organizer and to get the documents of participants of the fair in Service Bureau.

To execute entry visas and exhibiton documents the Exhibitor is to present to Organizer the list of personnel till April 30, 2010.

Responsibility and Insurance:

All the exhibitors bear responsibility for fulfillment of the rules of fire and civil prevention at the exhibition. The exhibitor should recompence all the damages, caused by the actions of his personnel. The exhibitor should insure his property by himself.
