WATER CIRCUIT

The water circuit supplies the required amount of low temperature water for cooling the oil. The hot water exiting the cooler flows through one pump and is directed to a cooling battery, placed out of the skid.

Heat exchange takes place with air at ambient temperature thereby cooling down the water. Once this has been done, the water returns to the cooler.

P02 – COOLING WATER PUMP:

One horizontal centrifugal pump, driven by electric motor M02, is employed for the cooling water.

The motor is suitable for installation in zones explained in detail in the project documentation.

E03 – WATER COOLING BATTERY:

The air cooler E03 is deigned to cool down the water exiting the oil cooler (E01) and gas cooler (E02), using ambient air. It includes finned tubes mounted on a frame. Air jets coming from one axial fan hit the tubes which the water to be cooled down passes through. The fan V03 is driven by electric motor M03.

TCV02 – GAS TEMPERATURE CONTROL VALVE:

A two-way valve controls the gas temperature before the separator SO2A, increasing or decreasing the cooling water flow rate through the gas cooler.

UTA – AIR HANDLING UNIT:

The Air Handling Unit (UTA), thanks to an air/water exchange battery and an electric resistor, heats the air introduced into the enclosure.

BASE FRAME

The equipment that are part of the package are mounted on the base. It comes with steel beams welded together with holes for securing the skid, eyebolts for lifting and a steel plate on the bottom to collect leaks of liquids.
