Игра Морской бой «Что ты знаешь о Лондоне?»
Цель: контроль фактических знаний о достопримечательностях Лондона
Задачи: уметь назвать достопримечательности Лондона
определять достопримечательности по описанию
различать исторические здания визуально
Оборудование: поле для игры в «Морской бой», кораблики, распечатки с заданиями, карточки для рефлексии, компьютер, проектор, экран, таблички со словами из темы What do you know about London?
Ход занятия:
1. Организационный момент
Good afternoon, boys and girls! I’m glad to see you. Today I invite you to London. Today we’ll play the game “Sea battle”. The name of it is spoiled by the weather in London. All the parts have been mixed by the wind. Try to repair it. (Учащиеся составляют из слов вопросительное предложение What do you know about London?)We have 2 teams. I hope you know how to play this game. You will try to guess where the ship of the enemy is. Then your teams will have the same task. Students who do the task better and quicker will have the ship. At the end of the game the teams will count the ships and we shall find out who is the winner.
На доске вывешено игровое поле с 7 кораблями. Команды по очереди пытаются отгадать клетку с кораблем. Если кто-то из участников называет номер клетки, на которой расположен корабль, обе команды выполняют задание. Команда, выполнившая его успешнее, получает корабль. Команда, «захватившая» большее количество кораблей, выигрывает.

Are you ready to start the game? What mood are you in? Choose a picture with a face showing your mood. I invite your captains to me. Please, choose the name of your team (“Pirates “ and “Romantics”). Throw the dice. Who will start?

How many ships do “Pirates” have? And “Romantics”? Well, … are the winners. They get a box of treasure to be computer educated. (диск с обучающей программой по английскому языку) The second team get a box of chocolate to be strong and clever. (конфеты «Морские»)
