Цели и задачи:

Ø развитие лексических навыков

Ø развитие навыков говорения с использованием новых лексических единиц

Ø развитие языковых способностей учащихся;

Ø формирование положительной мотивации учения;

Ø знакомство с интересными фактами об Олимпийских играх;

Ø формирование интереса к занятиям спортом и стремления к здоровому образу жизни;

Ø развитие у учащихся интереса к иностранным языкам.

Мультимедийная доска, проектор, презентация (прил_7кл)

Ход урока:

1. Приветствие. Тема. (Slide 1)

Good morning boys and girls. I’m glad to see you. As you can see the topic of our lesson is “Sport and the Olympic Games”. Today we’ll lean new words and we’ll know some interesting things about the Olympic Games.

2. Фонетическая зарядка.

(Slide2) Repeat the proverbs please:

· A sound mind is in a sound body.

· Good health is above wealth.

· Eat to live, not live to eat.

· An apple a day keeps the doctor away.

(Slide 20) Welcome to Sochi where will pass the Olympic Games

(Slide 21) The Olympic Games will be held in Sochi in 2014

(Slide 22) Sochi is situated on the Black Sea coast near the border between Georgia and Russia. The city is beautiful.

(Slide 23, 24, 25) The mascots of the Olympic Games are: the polar bear, the hare, the snow leopard.

(Slide 26) The mascots of the Paralympic Games are

(Slide 27) The Olympic Games slogan is “Hot. Cool. Yours”

(Slide 28) The Olympic Games in Sochi will be holding events in 15 disciplines of 7 winter sports: biathlon, bobsleigh, curling, ice hockey, luge, skating, skiing.
