«Успешный человек. Кто это?»

Цели:

1) развивать у учащихся навыки аудирования.

2) развивать навыки устной речи.

3) активизация грамматического материала по теме «Общие вопросы».

Ход урока

1. Организационный момент.

- Good morning, boys and girls. Today we are going to discuss “Who is a successful person?” and what should we do to become successful.

- Who is on duty today? What is the date today?

2. Фонетическая зарядка.

- Ex. 8 p. 95 (дети слушают кассету и повторяют за диктором)

3. Речевая разминка.

- Answer my questions, please.

1) Are you happy?

2) Do you want to be successful?

3) What famous Russian people do you know?

4) What famous American people do you know?

5) Were they successful?

4. Практика в аудировании.

- Look at the pictures on the screen and match the short characteristics of the people with the photos.

(Вы видите фотографии знаменитых людей и должны соотнести номер фотографии и характеристику к ней.)

1. A famous Russian popular music singer. She was born on the 15th of April in 1949 (Alla Pugachyova/)

2. On 12th April 1961 he became the first man in space when he traveled round the Earth/ (Yuri Gagarin/)

3. A famous Russian ballet dancer. (Galina Ulanova.)

4. A world famous Russian sportsman. She won Olympic medals in 1972, 1976 and 1980. (Irina Rodnina.)

6. A famous English film actor and producer, he usually played in silent black and white films. (Charlie Chaplin.)

5. Развитие навыков чтения с извлечением информации.

- We have already read the texts about Walt Disney and Mother Teresa. Do you remember them? They were very famous people. We will talk about them. Open your book on page number 96, exercise 11. Look through the text about Walt Disney and find the answers to the questions.

-Who is Walt Disney?

-What his cartoon characters do you know?

-What did he do a lot in his childhood?

-How did he become the owner of a small studio?

-Does his studio produce films now days?

7. Развитие навыков устной речи.

- Теперь давайте попробуем рассказать о Уолт Диснее.

( Дети рассказывают о продюсере, дополняя друг друга)

- I think, to be successful or to become successful, we must do something, we must have some traits of character. Why did they become successful? ( Почему они стали известными? Что мы должны делать для этого?)

- Now you will read some statements and you must agree or disagree with it.

Домашнее задание: составить по три вопроса к тексту о Матери Терезе

Если останется время: Find the proper Russian equivalents to the following English proverbs

2. A cat in gloves catches no mice. ( Без труда не вытащишь и рыбку из пруда/)

3. Rome was not built in a day. (Москва не сразу строилась/)

Подведение итогов: Let’ make a formula of the hard working to the real success in one’s life. Look at the proverbs that we started with once more.

Let’s find some steps to the success. Try to put the proverbs in such an order that you follow in order to get a success.
