“SELIGDAR” HOLDING NEWS

“Seligdar” OJSC	1. Mining activities are in progress according to the approved gold extraction schedule for 2009 at the opencasts of Samolazovsky and Mezhsopochniy sites. As of today, 946 thousand tons of ore (inclusive of the residual from 2008) has been delivered to the ore stockpile of Samolazovsky ore mining complex, which is 110% of the current year plan target Taking into account Verkhneye site, 199 thousand tons of ore has been delivered to the ore stockpile of Mezhsopochniy, which is 57% of the current year plan target. 2. Ore processing is in progress at the fragmentation facilities;764.6 thousand tons of ore has been crushed at Samolazovskiy ore mining complex, which is 105% of the current year plan target, and 159 thousand tons – at Mezhsopochniy, which is 53% of the current year plan target. 3. Within the boundary of the opencast of Mezhsopochniy deposit (“Tsentralnaya” bank) and at its flanks, geological survey activities are continued within the framework of the licenses for Mezhsopochniy and Goltsoviy-1 sites in order to refine the boundaries and the parameters of industrial ore deposition of the pre bodies on the eastern flank of the Tsentralnaya bank (south). Definition of the boundaries of the eastern flank of Tsentralnaya bank has been finalized. 4. 347 line meters of core drilling have been accomplished in August, including 8 holes totaling 260 line meters drilled at Tsentralnaya and 2 holes totaling 87 line meters drilled at Goltsoviy.
“Seligdar Gold” OJSC	1. Mining activities are in progress according to the approved gold extraction schedule for 2009 at the opencast of Nadezhda site, 914 tons of ore have been delivered to the ore stockpile taking into account the residues from 2008. Ore crushing is in progress according to the production schedule for 2009, 789 tons of ore have been prepared for stacking., which is 63% of the year’s plan target. Gold extraction is continued at the heap leaching plant of Nizhneyakokitskiy mining complex, total of 558 kilograms of gold has been extracted starting from the beginning of operation. 3rd stockpile bed preparation are complete; one agglojmeration plant from the 2nd stockpile has been reallocated for the 3rd stockpile. Average daily throughput is 8 thousand tons of ore. Cement storehouse construction for the second palletizing plant is complete. Construction of toxic compound storage is in progress, metal framework is has been mounted, 80% of wall panels have currently been installed. Expected completion date is the first decade of October 2009. Installation of instrumentation and controls and debugging of software is continued at the heap leaching plant; expected completion date is September 2009 At the Nadezhda site, 628 line meters of core drilling has been accomplished in August at the locations designated for operational activities. The drilling was performed in order to clarify the boundaries and the parameters of the registered reserves.
“Ryabinovoye” LLC	1. "RJC consulting" LLC continues development of the technical justification for the exploration standards for reassessment of the available resources at the site. Modular model of the deposit with different boundary values from 0.6 to 1.2 g/ton has been developed. Calculations of the parameters of the opencasts for different boundary contents of gold are in progress. The boundary value of 0.8 g/ton has been selected in the exploration standards for calculation of the reserves. The documents are expected to be finalized and submitted to the RF State Reserves Committee in November 2009. 2. Construction of a 26 kilometers long 110/6 kV transmission line is continued. As of today, 13.2 kilometers of line clearance has been done, 10 kilometers of transmission line constructed. Construction of the pad for electrical substation is in progress, old roads are being cleared and new ones constructed.
“Lunnoye” CJSC	1. Core drilling activities are performed by the geological service of the “Seligdar Gold” OJSC, 3 drilling rigs are in operation. 1789 line meters have been drilled in August, 18 drillholes have been documented; 9429.4 line meters have been drilled starting from the beginning of the year. Total amount of accomplished trenching operations is 7187 m3. Results of analysis of 376 uranium samples were obtained. 2. Construction of a bridge across Yakukhta River is pletion is scheduled for October 2009. 3. The specialists of “NPP GEOTEP” based on prior engineering and geological assessment, suggested three possible options for site location. Final site selection is to be done before the end of September 2009. 4. Based on the results of a meeting with “ARMZ” OJSC, “Seligdar Gold” OJSC and “GEOTEP” LLC, a decision was made to review the statement of work for research and development, as well as design and activities for “Design of the pilot HL plant for processing ores of Lunnoye deposit”. The final approval deadline is September 2009. Preliminary date of final approval of the design of the pilot facility is 2nd quarter of 2010. 5. 21.08.09, a meeting with participation of ARMZ” OJSC, “Seligdar Gold” OJSC and “GEOTEP” LLC was held. The Strategy of development of Lunnoye CJSC was approved, the strategy was recommended for approval by the board of directors. The Board meeting is to take place in September 2009.
“Poisk placer miner guild” LLC	1. Stack #4 formation was completed in August, ore placing into stack #3 started; total of 48.15 thousand tons of agglomerated ore has been placed. As of 01.09.09, total volume of ore in the stacks was 191 thousand tons. 2. Mining activities are in progress according to the approved gold extraction schedule for 2009 at the opencast of Murzinskoye-1 site. 46.65 thousand tons of ore excavated from the opencast, total volume of stripping operations amounted to 36.6 cubic meters 3. Construction of a hostel for 40 persons is continued. Internal finishing is in progress. Construction is expected to be completed in September 2009. 4. On August 24, attestation of the assay laboratory took place. 5. Field geological surveys are suspended. No core drilling or trenching was performed. Geophysical survey completed at Talovskiy site.
“Orenburg Mining Company” (OGK) LLC	1. At Bazoviy site – the primary site for production test – infill core drilling of 100-230 meter deep angle core holes is continued with the density of 50x10-20 meters. 2. Exploration holes were drilled at Lun site located southwards from the final pit in the framework of the project of investigation of the flanks of Vasin site. Total of 1038 line meters were drilled in July. Total amount of trenching operations was 333 cubic meters. 3. 438 atomic adsorption tests for gold and 1619 spectral analyses for gold and its pathfinder elements were made in the company’s own laboratory
“Euroart” LLC	1. Field operations are continued at Anikhovskaya area, including prospecting traverses and trenching. Total of 1894 cubic meters of trenches were dug in July, 15647 line meters of holes drilled with the use of counterflash core drilling, 7218 samples taken

Construction of the enrichment factory tailings dam was continued Assay lab is refining the assay methodologies. The laboratory attestation is scheduled for November 2009.
