Тема: The Way to Camelot

Цель: контроль усвоения лексического и грамматического материала по теме «Характер»

Задачи: 1. обобщить и систематизировать знания по теме «Характер»;

2. формировать устойчивый интерес к изучению английского языка;

3. воспитывать любовь и уважение к истории и культуре страны изучаемого языка

Оборудование: 1. презентация к уроку

2. аудиозапись песни “ Happy Song”;

3. эмблемы команд;

4. грамоты для награждения команд.

-Today we have an unusual lesson. It is a traveling lesson. (Приложение 1)

-For “traveling”, you need a language of your knowledge.

-It was many-many years ago. There was some castle called Camelot in old bless Britain. Arthur was the king of that castle. He was a kind, brave, fair knight. After his death his castle was cast a spell. There is a letter for someone who will be able to reach the gates of the castle. Let’s guess riddles of the King Arthur.

-There are two orders who would like to reach the gates of the castle. They are:

-Please introduce your orders.

We would like to take part.

The Puzzle Ocean

-The Puzzle Ocean is appearing. There are many puzzles and riddles there. We have to guess them for leaving the Ocean. (Слайд 3 с гиперссылкой на 7)

The Lair of Marine Monster

-Marine Monster lives in the lair. We must make a chain to evade Monster

This chain should be consisted of some traits of character.

For example, the first player says brave, the second player says brave,

kind, the third one – three words etc. You cannot break the chain. The
