Задача: Проверка знаний лексики и степени усвоения пройденного материала.
INTRODUCTION
It’s the names of great people that make the history of the nation.
For example the history of England will not be adequate without mentioning, the names of famous literature geniuses like Shakespeare and Byron. Names like Abai Kunanbayev, Zhambul Zhabayev make the history of Kazakhstan. All these names and many more have left a significant record in the history of their own country and the world as a whole.
In this context the personalities and activities of the outstanding Americans played a role in shaping Americans life and culture.
At the lesson we shall speak about famous Americans People, who made a great contribution in the cultural life of the country. We’ll discuss their professional skill, some traits of the character, interests, the high points of life and how their career grew.
But first of all, let’s talk about qualities that help people to become famous and what qualities do you want to develop in qualities.

1) –Maxim what qualities would you like to develop in qualities and see in your friends?
- In three words I would describe myself as positive, cheerful and inquisitive.
I am fond of music and attend the music school. I play the piano well and prefer classical music. Also I’m good at sport, go in for Ka-ra-te and have good results in this kind of sorts.
I have many friends and choose them due to such qualities as: friendliness, modesty and faithfulness.
In my opinion these qualities are important for those, who want to be respected by people. My friends are reliable, sociable and study successfully.
2) – Tanya, tell me please, is ambition a positive or a negative quality? And what do you think about Dima, for example. Could you describe him.
- Dima is a hard working, supportive, capable, and optimistic. And, in my opinion, he is ambitious. He wants to enter the University and be a professional at computer programming. On the other hand he likes reading, especially Russian poetry. He read poems by heart very well and always participates in our lyceum parties. He is the candidate in master of sport in orienteering and can organize his daily routine quite successfully. I believe ambition is a positive quality.
3) –Dima, do you agree with Tanya?
- Yes, I agree with her.
Ambition is a good quality for those people, who want to show their best and get to the top. You have to be ambitious, broad-minded, with a sense of humor, generous and respectful to others. I’m interested in many things, such as: reading, sports, music and of course computing - it’s my hobby and my future career.
