Single office for investors servicing

In order to increase the positive image, investment and financial appeal of Lviv region, secure the respective level of investment attraction and complex servicing of investors, provide qualitative preparation and conduct of business negotiations between the enterprises of Lviv region and potential investors, the Centre became the initiator of opening of the Single office for investors servicing in Lviv region.

This initiative was supported by Lviv regional state administration and Lviv City Council.

Single office was created with the aim of

Organization of the effective work on investments attraction, cooperation with potential investors, consultations and the practical assistance for the participants of investment project in conducting of negotiations; preparations and signing of the documents on cooperation in the area of external economic relations, , including investing of funds for carrying out of investments projects for the enterprises in Lviv region.

The work of the Single Office also comprises participation of the representatives of consulting, investment, legal, audit, leasing, insurance companies who are business partners of the Centre, which was done in order to establish the complex investor servicing.

In 2004 it is planned to do the following:

Provide proper technical service of the work of the Single office for investors servicing (it is planned to supply it with the office room, tables and chairs, phone apparatuses, computers, modems and printers, Xerox, fax, TV set video tape, multimedia projector, screen, stationery etc. An approximate square for the Single office – 50 square meters),

- To attract to the work in the Single office as translators the post-graduate students and students from the magistracy of the economic faculties of Lviv universities,

- Prepare advertising and informative materials about investment and financial appeal of the region, also about those enterprises of the region, which plan to attract investments and develop export-import transactions;

- To provide all the visitors of the Single office with standard acts and qualified consultations on the issues of external economic activity (creation of the joint ventures, joint activity, export-import transactions, taxation, custom legislation, insurance, leasing, banking servicing, securities transactions, etc.)

- Make placement of the questionnaires of the business-plans’ of the investment projects on the special Internet servers, including also the server “Investment opportunities in Ukraine” www. imvu. , created with the participation of the Ministry of economy of Ukraine and JV “Tikon”, (Centre for promotion of investments attraction is an official regional partner of JV TIKON),

- Inform the potential investors through Internet, mass media about the opportunity to get services at the Single office

- To study an opportunity of creation on the basis of Single office for investors servicing of Lviv Agency for promotion of investments attraction and entrepreneurship development.
