Human Rights Council

Regretting about the mass women’s discrimination around the whole world,

Regarding the inviolability of human rights and the trust in the dignity and worth of the human person and into the equal rights of men woman,

Recalling the Europe Convention of human rights, the Declaration on the equal rights of men and women from the 16th of November 1988 and the message of the Minister’s Committee to the 4th International UNO Conference about women (Beijing, September 1995),

Considering that UNO has accepted Declaration on the Elimination of Violence against Women,

Considering that the majority of the ONU countries have signed and ratified the CEDAW,

Noting that the CEDAW was ratified 20 years ago and situation didn’t ameliorate significantly,

Welcoming the Recommendation No R (96) of the 5th Ministers’ Committee of the European Soviet about the combination of the professional activity and family life,

Taking into account the necessity of a more essential contribution from international institutions into the case of creating equal rights between men and women,

Remembering about that for achieving the full equality between men and women it is important to change the traditional role of men and women in society and family,

Understanding that if women choose the religious, cultural and national traditions, even when these traditions violate HR, it is her own choice and it should be respected,

Noticing the urgent necessity for the universal application of the women rights and principles with regard to equality, security, liberty and integrity of all human beings,

Taking into consideration that the violence against women is an obstacle to the achievement of equality, development and peace,

Understanding that violence against women constitutes a violation of the rights and fundamental freedoms of women and impairs or nullifies their enjoyment of those rights and freedoms,

Admitting that discrimination against women exists in the whole world,

Realizing that in some countries the fact of women’s discrimination is ignored by the government.

1.  Confirms its strong opposition against women’s discrimination in the globe,

2.  Calls upon all countries to stop women’s rights harassments in all spheres of life (a special juridical Commission which could protect women’s right in the case of divorce and the domestic violence, e. g.),

3.  Calls upon all interested countries to sign the Protocol about equal rights between men and women in all spheres of life,

4.  Recommends every country to create multi-purpose strategies on the base of the United Nations project taking into account peculiarities of each country,

5.  Recommends to establish quota working places in the governmental structures where women will have a privilege,

6.  calls to create the rehabilitation centers for the victims of any kind of women’s harassment,

7.  Welcomes the creation of different meetings and conferences where women and men could together decide all the aspects connected with the problem of equal rights,

8.  Recommends the CSW to create a control organization concerning discrimination against women which will include financial fund in order:

a)  to create a group of independent experts which will check the real situation about discrimination against women in result to the UN. The group of experts will consist of international and local representatives in an equal number,

b) to carry out research work with the purpose of finding out the women’s opinion about their public status by a questionnaire and to establish a deadline to make this social investigation and publish the results to the UNO,

c) if the result of these investigation in some country will be negative; to create an office to spread information about the discrimination against women without governmental restrictions,

d) to call the Commission to put a special attention to the question of women’s discrimination in its annual reports about the Human Rights;

e) to provide the financial support to all interested countries.

9. Recommends every country to intensify struggle against women’s slavery.
