Цели урока:

1. Познакомиться с лексикой по теме «Узнаем больше друг о друге».

2. Развивать произносительные и лексические навыки учащихся.

3. Активизировать навыки чтения и диалогической речи.

4. Закрепить навыки умения общаться с партнером, партнерами по диалогу.

5. Поддерживать интерес к изучаемому языку посредством создания игровой речевой ситуации на основе страноведческого материала.

Ход урока.

I. Организационный момент.

Приветствие, готовность класса к уроку, сообщение темы урока.

II. Фонетическая зарядка.

а) фонетическая отработка звуков в словах:

take – make – lake do – did – done whey - where – when

nine – five – night tip – tap – top long – song – morning

Tom – not – got get – got – got he – how - hi

б) упр.2, с.40 – учебник

Listen to the words and repeat after the speaker.

Choose the Russian equivalents for the English words and read them in pairs.

III. Речевая зарядка.

Answer my questions:

- How old are you?

- Have you got a sister?

- Have you got a father?

- What is your father?

- Are you close friends?

- What do you like to do together?

- Did you walk yesterday? Etc.

IV. Активизация навыков чтения.

Учебник, упр. 3

Linda is giving an interview to a correspondent of a youth magazine. Listen to the tape and then read the dialogue in pairs.

What do the words “interview, correspondent” mean? Speak Russian.

What magazines do you know? Name them.

Have you ever seen any British magazines? Look at this (“SPEAK OUT”). Who can read some titles and translate them? Try your chance. Good for you!

How would you answer these questions? Try and work in pairs. Who wants to act out the dialogue? Come to the blackboard and be polite, please.

V. Актуализация навыков чтения транскрипции английских слов.

Now I want you to read the words from exercise 4, page 41. We’ll work in chain and read the words one by one. Let’s listen to the tape and correct yourself.

Match the transcription and the words in your notebooks.
