Сценарий праздника
“Christmas party”
Задачи:
1.Ознакомление с традициями страны изучаемого языка.
2.Повышение интереса учащихся к изучаемому языку.
Оборудование: музыкальный центр, компьютер, макет елки, бенгальские свечи, буквы “MERRY CHRISTMAS”, игрушки, костюм Санты Клауса, чулки для подарков
Ход праздника:
1.Начало праздника
( Звучит песня группы «Jingle bells» в исполнении оркестра)
Учитель: Ребята, какое число сегодня? А 25 декабря – это не обычная дата почти для всех христиан Европы и Америки, а также многих других стран. В этот день они празднуют Рождество Христово (день рождения Христа). Давайте сегодня мы перенесемся в Англию и попробуем представить, как же они отмечают этот самый радостный для них праздник.
2.Рассказ о Рождестве.
P1: What do English and American people celebrate today?
P2: They celebrate Christmas!
P1: When do people celebrate Christmas?
P2: Some people celebrate it on the 25th of December and some people celebrate it on the 7th of January.
P1: Why is Christmas – Christmas?
P2: Because it is Christ’s birthday. (на доске – CHRIST – Христос, MAS – месса). Listen to a song about it.

P1: Now all people in many countries celebrate Christmas. They decorate Christmas tree.
P3, P4: It’s winter time!

The Christmas tree!

Take some crackers,
Take some bells,
Take some stars,
Take some lights,
Take some baubles,
And put them on the tree!
( развешивают игрушки на елку )
P1: All people give presents on this day.
P2: When children go to bed, they put their stockings near the fireplace.
( достает чулки для подарков, сделанные руками учащихся. )
P1: At night Santa Claus comes.
( появляется Santa Claus. На доске: Father Christmas - Англия , Santa Claus – Америка)
Santa Claus: Good morning, teachers! Hello, boys and girls! Do you know my name?
P1: No, I don’t. And you? (обращается к залу)
Зал: …
Santa Claus: That’ s right! In England they call me Father Christmas, Santa Clause or Santa.
P2: Santa Claus! Do you know any riddles?
Santa Claus.: Yes, I do. This is a traditional Christmas riddle.
Flour of England,
Fruit of Spain
Met together in a shower of rain;
Put in a bag, tied round with a string
If you tell me this riddle
I’ll give you a ring.
Мука из Британии,
Плоды из Испании
Однажды столкнулись в теплой компании.
Кладем все в коробку,
Завяжем опрятно,
И если вам тайна коробки понятна.
То вам я, пожалуй, отрежу кусок.

Конкурс « Why?»
1. Why is a star a symbol of Christmas? (It tells about the birth of Jesus Christ)
2. Why is a Christmas tree the Symbol of Christmas? ( it indicates the everlasting hope of mankind)
3. Why is red the colour of Christmas? ( it reminds the blood of Jesus)
4. Why is a bell the symbol of Christmas? ( it proclaims the Good news, our Shepard will never leave us)
5. Why is the stocking the symbol of Christmas? ( it reminds of the legend about St Nicholas who dropped gold into a poor man’s window for his three daughters’ weddings. The gold fell into the stockings which were hung by the fireplace to dry).
6. Who do we sing carols at Christmas? ( they tell about Jesus’s birth).
Santa Claus.: Children, do you like to go to school?
Do you wash your hands and face?
Do your clean your teeth?
Do your do sports?
Can your dance?
Can your sing a Christmas song?
Do you know any poems about New Year?

( дети выходят к доске, берут по одной букве и составляют слова

Santa Claus : Thank you very much! I am so pleased. And now I want to sing my favourite songs. Sing along with me.
