1.  Warming-up-activity. Practice listening for specific information.

Guess the name of the film.

1.  It’s a cartoon about a cat and a mouse. The cat is always chasing the mouse, but the mouse is more clever and usually finds ways of escaping.

2.  It’s a well-known film about the catastrophe of a British liner that struck an iceberg and sank off on the 14th of April, 1912. The film got 11 Oscars in 1998.

3.  It’s a film about a large gorilla which terrorized the people of New York, taking a young lady prisoner and climbing the Empire State Building holding her under his arm.

Read Ex. 2. 3), page 178-179 and say which of your questions the text helps to answer.

2.4.  Post-reading stage. Practice speaking about Hollywood.

Ex. 3. 1), page 180. what are these people famous for? Make the sentences using WHO OR WHICH. If necessary, look at the LCG to find information about these people. Individual work.

3.1. Maching. Choose the most suitable beginning and ending to make a sentence and put WHO or WHICH between them.
