1.3 Характеристика дисциплины

Дисциплина «Профессионально-ориентированный иностранный (английский) язык» является обязательным компонентом обучения, входит в цикл базовых дисциплин и ориентирован на потребность студентов в изучении английского языка, диктуемую особенностями будущей профессии или специальности. Сущность профессионально – ориентированного обучения иностранному языку заключается в его интеграции со специальными дисциплинами с целью получения дополнительных профессиональных знаний и формирования профессионально значимых качеств личности.

1.4 Цель дисциплины

Целью изучения данной дисциплины является формирование у студентов профессиональной коммуникативной компетенции в сфере выбранной специальности, делового и личностного общения.

1.5 Задачи дисциплины

Задачами курса являются формирование у студентов умений:

– применять профессиональную лексику и терминологию;

– строить устные и письменные высказывания по своей специальности в различных ситуациях профессионального общения;

– поддерживать беседу, связанную со специальностью, вступать в диалог и диспут, дискуссию;

– владеть навыками перевода текстов специальности;

– анализировать литературу по своей специальности;

– составлять и оформлять деловые бумаги профессионального характера.

По завершении курса обучения «Профессионально-ориентированного английского языка» студенты должны владеть компетенциями:

– способность осуществлять коммуникацию в сфере профессионального общения;

– способность строить тексты различных типов;

– способность грамотно оформлять письменные тексты профессионального характера;

– понимать профессиональные тексты, строить по ним речевые дискурсы.

Согласно международному стандарту владения иностранным языком уровень знаний студентов должен соответствовать уровню В2:

1. Чтение: понимание текстов, построенных на языковом материале профессионального общения. Быстрый просмотр текста по специальности с выделением важных деталей. Определение значений незнакомых слов по контексту и структуре слова. Нахождение определённой информации, в том числе, справочного характера.

2. Аудирование: Понимание основных положений лекций, бесед, докладов, касающихся профессиональной деятельности.

3. Говорение. Монолог: Умение делать ясный, логично построенный доклад на профессиональную тематику с выделением важных моментов, приводить доводы за и против какой - то определённой точки зрения. Давать чёткие, беглые сообщения по общим профессиональным вопросам.

Диалог: умение вести разговор на профессиональные темы на достаточно беглом уровне. Умение подчеркнуть личную заинтересованность в деле, объяснить и подкрепить свою точку зрения при помощи необходимых доводов, не допуская грубых грамматических ошибок.

4. Письмо: умение писать эссе или доклад на профессиональную тематику, приводя доводы за и против какой - то определённой точки зрения, поясняя плюсы и минусы вариантов решения.

1.11 Критерии оценки знаний

Экзаменационная оценка по дисциплине определяется как сумма максимальных показателей успеваемости по рубежным контролям (до 60%) и итоговой аттестации (экзамен) (до 40%) и составляет значение до 100% в соответствии с таблицей.

1.12. Политика и процедуры

При изучении дисциплины «Профессионально-ориентированный иностранный (английский) язык» прошу соблюдать следующие правила:

1. Не опаздывать на занятия.

2. Не пропускать занятия без уважительной причины, в случае болезни прошу представить справку, в других случаях – объяснительную записку.

3. В обязанности студента входит посещение всех видов занятий.

4. Согласно календарному графику учебного процесса сдавать все виды контроля.

5. Активно участвовать в учебном процессе.

6. Быть терпимыми, открытыми, откровенными и доброжелательными к сокурсникам и преподавателям.

7.3 Экзаменационные билеты (тесты)

Требования к экзамену:

1. Письменный перевод содержания прочитанного профессионально – технического текста по основам специальности. Объём текста - 2000 – 2500 п. зн., время выполнения – 45 мин;

2. Чтение (без словаря) текста общетехнического профессионального содержания, устное изложение основного содержания прочитанного на иностранном языке. Объём текста - 800 – 1000 п. зн., время выполнения – 25 мин;

3. Диалогическая речь на иностранном языке на изученные темы профессионального и научного общения;

4. Письмо делового характера, содержащего 2- 3- абзаца в соответствии с принятыми нормами.
