Dear Melanie,
I am writing this letter because I’m sure you should be aware of love affair between your husband Ashley and Scarlett. All of us love you and think you are the sweetest, most pliable of young women. We respect you and we are surprised that you treat Scarlett like a sister instead of hating her. You always tell that you are very grateful to Scarlett but time changes. She thinks only about herself. It is she who should be blamed for Mr. Kennedy death, she married a bare year after his death, and for the troubles the other members of the Klan had. Now Scarlett has entangled Ashley in her web. I could tell you more about Ashley and your precious Scarlett. She often goes to the mill to see him. You should be more suspicious and not trust them. Also you shouldn’t invite Scarlett and call her. Besides, she and Rhett have business with Scallawags and Carpetbaggers who are our enemies.
