Many people like going on holiday to places like Italy or Spain, but Martha prefers to stay at home. She lives with her parents and two little brothers in Lyme Regis in England. It is also famous because some authors write about it in their novels, and there are also films about it.

Lyme Regis is always full of tourists from England and abroad. Martha loves spending her holidays there but she doesn’t relax all the time. In summer, when there are many visitors, she works as a waitress in a seaside restaurant. In this way she can watch her favourite scenery all the time.

Martha doesn’t want to spend her holidays in Italy. Martha lives in a place in central England. In Dorset all seasons of the year are the same. Lyme Regis is a place with a lot of attractions for young people. Tourists from abroad come to Lyme Regis in summer only. Martha’s holidays are often quite busy. Martha loves looking at the sea.
