“WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT CINEMA?”

Вводный урок по теме: “What Helps You to Enjoy Yourself?” в 11 классе по учебнику “English” c применением презентации в Power Point.

Цели урока:

1)  введение новой лексики по теме; обеспечить усвоение знаний учащихся по теме урока на уровне понимания, применения и анализа;

2)  развивать способность к распределению внимания, к догадке, формировать способность к избирательности восприятия;

3)  воспитывать чувство сопричастности к мировой культуре, более глубокое осознание фактов своей культуры.

Оборудование:

компьютер, мультимедийный проектор, презентация в Ms Power Point 2003, учебник, магнитофон.

Teacher: The twentieth century may be called the century of film making. Motion pictures have become an important part of our lives. There are many types of motion pictures, but the most significant categories are feature films, animated films, documentaries, educational films. The stars and other actors who appear on screen are only part of the story: most of those who work on a production do not appear on camera. Teacher: Listen to the information and take notes about the most important facts about the history of cinematography

Moving images have always been popular. In China there were ‘shadow plays’ 5,000 years ago. So projection is a very old idea. But cinema became possible when this old Asian idea met a photography. /Слайд №4/ Before cinema could be born, one last invention was necessary – a projector and motion picture camera. And the men who produced that were two French brothers Louis and Auguste Lumière./Слайд № 5/On 28 December 1895 the Lumière showed several short films and one of them was called “An Arrival of the Train”. The ‘silent era’ of Charlie Chaplin, Rudolph Valentino, Clara Bow, Douglas Fairbanks started. Recorded sound ended the silent era in 1927. In 1932, Technicolor arrived. It made cinema more popular than ever. /Слайд № 6/
