Pneumatics & Hydraulics

Context:

In today’s world, Hydraulics and Pneumatics have become integral part of manufacturing and process industry. In finished assemblies as well as most manufacturing equipments/machinery, we find hydraulic and pneumatic components providing crucial functionalities.

Therefore companies are looking for competent personnel with clear understanding of Pneumatic & Hydraulic concepts, Application, Safety, Trouble shooting & Maintenance. This course helps Supervisors & Technicians in better understanding of Pneumatic & Hydraulic Systems resulting in Quality Productivity & minimizes the downtime.

Coverage and contents

The workshop shall cover the following:

1.  Pneumatics: Duration – 1.5 days

Introduction & Concepts, Safety, Air Compressor, Reservoir, Air distribution, Valves & Components.

Application of Pneumatic Systems, Selection of components, its construction and mounting.

Study of few pneumatic circuit diagrams & its functioning.

2.  Hydraulics: Duration – 1.5 days

Introduction, Safety, Basic Laws, Hydraulics Pumps/Motors, Filters, Valves, Actuators, Accumulators & Hoses.

Application of Hydraulic Systems, Selection of components, its construction & mounting.

Study of few Hydraulic circuit diagrams & its functioning.

Participants’ Profile:

The workshop is meant for lead technicians/junior engineers from manufacturing, quality and service charged with the responsibility of applying hydraulic and pneumatic systems in their functional areas.

The Faculty:

The workshop has been conceived, structured and will be engaged by Mr. Venugopal Paravartikar, serving in M/s. Skillsonics India Pvt. Ltd. Bangalore, with vast experience of over 35+ years as Principal GTTC (Government Tool Training Centre), Bangalore. He has experience in developing tool rooms in collaboration with various countries like Denmark; Germany & Swiss etc., He has standardized course content for various tool rooms in the country

 In the past he has worked with Mysore Kirloskar Hubli, (Machine Tool Industry) as production supervisor, ELMECA works Dharwad (Manufacturers of Collets and Boring heads) as Production in charge, Worked in NTTF Bangalore as Asst Manager Production & Training.

He has also conducted tailor made programmes in technical and soft skills for employees   sponsored from Public Sector and Private Sector like BHEL, NAL, ISRO, SIEMENS, TVS, ITC, etc.,

Participation fees is non-refundable/ non-adjustable against any other programme of CII, but change in nomination(s) is accepted.

Registration: Prior registration for participation by the sponsoring companies is necessary. Number of participants will be limited to 25.
