Proposal for themed volume

Please first read the general information on the Proceedings of the British Academy at

www. britishacademy. ac. uk/publications/guidelines-proposing-proceedings-british-academy-themed-volume

The principal proposer/Editor should only complete this form once the proposed contents list of the volume has been settled.

The next advertised closing date for submission of proposals is 16 September 2016.

Selection of the Proceedings volumes will be carried out by the British Academy’s Publications Committee in November 2016.

The principal proposer/Editor must complete §§ 1–12 of the form, and email the whole form to the Head of Publications at the British Academy (*****@***ac. uk). It is intended that this form, in Word, should be filled in electronically, and sent as an email attachment. Please type your answers where indicated by the colons (all answers should be in Times New Roman 11pt, with single line spacing). There are no predefined boxes to limit the length of your answers, but please keep your answers succinct (§§ 6, 8 & 9 require fuller answers). Please ensure that you complete all sections of the form, that you provide all the information we need, and that all information is accurate and that there are no spelling or typographical errors. Your application will be judged solely on the information completed in this form, together with the referee’s report.

You need to obtain a reference. A reference form is plete § 1 of the reference form and email the form to the referee, together with a copy of your completed proposal form. Please ask your referee to email their reference direct to the British Academy by the closing date of 16 September 2016. An application cannot be considered unless the proposal and the reference have been submitted on or before the specified deadline.
