HOUSE LEAGUE HOCKEY REGISTRATION 2016-17

OUR PROGRAM – all programs require full hockey equipment. See website

Divisions offered: Tyke Learn to Play: Born 2010-2012 (Saturday only, development/fun)

Minor Novice: Born 2009-2010 (Saturday only, games & skills)

Novice: Born 2008-2009 (incl. 16 skating/skills classes)

Atom: Born 2006-2007 (incl. 4-5 powerskating classes)

PeeWee: Born 2004-2005 (incl. 4-5 powerskating classes)

Bantam/MinorMidget: Born 2001-2003 (Monday only, games/scrimmage)

Select Coaches are in place for 2002; 2003; 2004/05; 2006; 2007; 2008; 2009; 2010 teams

-  Select players MUST commit to playing House League. Additional hockey and fees apply.

-  If you have questions, please contact our VP Select Rob Lee or the coach listed on the website.

We will try to accommodate children in different divisions if their needs and skills warrant the move.

Such moves are made entirely at the discretion of the House League Executive.

IMPORTANT – Hockey Canada requires that one parent of every player complete the online Respect in Sport Parent program to finalize registration. Links are on the website.

THE SCHEDULE The 2016-17 season will run from Saturday October 15th to early April 2017.

We expect that the weekly schedule will mirror the last few years and we will adjust programs where necessary to ensure that as many children as possible can enjoy Willowdale Hockey.

Saturday games:

Tyke: Learn to Play 11.20am

Minor Novice: games/skills 12.05 & 12.50pm

Novice games: 1.45 and 2.30pm

Atom games: 3.25 and 4.10pm

Peewee games: 5.05 and 6pm

(flood between PW games)

Monday evening games (2001-2003)

Bantam/M-Midget 8 & 9pm (Oct 17-mid March)

Midget (1999-2000) 10pm – registration Sept1

Sunday morning practices:

Novice teams 7.45am Hockey School. 16 skills sessions, 8 team sessions to get to know your teammates. 4 team sessions will be later in the morning rotating with Atom skills.

Atom and Peewee team practices rotate:

Sunday 9am -1.15pm, plus 4-5 sessions

each for power skating & goalie coaching.

Bantam/MM & Midget Monday only

Want to make $25 dollars? Introduce a friend to Willowdale who did not play here in 2015-16 and

who lives in the “M” postal codes; we credit you $25 for each in March 2017. No limit, siblings do not qualify.

Refund and NSF cheque policy

-  $100 deposits from Earlybird registrations are non-refundable.

-  Fully paid fees are refundable to Sept 5th with a $50 admin fee and until November 15th at 50%

-  No refunds will be paid after November 15th ; a charge of $20 applies to all NSF cheques

The House League committee will, at its sole discretion, provide relief in the case of season ending injury or other circumstance. If you need help with fees, please ask.
