As the song goes “It’s the most wonderful time of the year!!” School bells will be ringing once again! We, the faculty and staff, extend a very warm welcome to our new students and their families as well as our returning students and their families for the 2016-2017 school year. Listed below is the schedule for the beginning of school:
September 6 —Orientation Day for Teachers/Staff
*September 7 —Grades 5, 6, 7, 8
*September 8 —Grades 1, 2, 3, 4
*September 9 —Grades 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8
*September 12-Full day-Grades 1-8
*Bell rings at 8:05 a. m.
Students in grades 1-8 have full mmer or regular school uniforms are required. Only white sneakers and white ankle socks are to be worn with the summer uniform.
September 12-Prek and Kindergarten girls come to school—full day.
September 13—Pre-K and Kindergarten boys come to school-full day.
September 14- Prek and Kindergarten students come to school-full day.
These are full days. Kindergarten students wear their gym uniforms. Pre K students wear regular clothes.
Back to School Nights begin the week of September 12
Parents/Guardians are expected to attend. There will be a meeting with Sister Kathleen in the school hall at 7:00 p. m. followed by a meeting with the teachers in the classrooms.
Tuesday, September 13—Grades 1-4
Thursday, September 15---Grades 5-8
School Calendar will be given to your child the first week of school. Students will need to bring a snack for morning recess the first week of school. Pretzels will be sold the first full week of school—September 12th. All students will need to bring their own juice/milk to school. These items are not sold in school.
