The Seven Visions of Revelation

This is a summary of the Seven Visions that are presented in the book “Revelation 7x7.” Each of these Visions is complete in itself; and each ends with the return of the Lord – or an event that heralds the return of the Lord.

Vision #1: The Day of the Lord (Chapter 6 of “Revelation 7x7”)

This Vision is contained entirely in Revelation, chapter 6. It tells of six worldwide events – or processes that take place in the time of the end leading up to the return of the Lord. The Vision ends with the Signs in the heavens (Rev. 6:12-13) which take place at the Return of the Lord (Matt. 24:29-30).

They are:

1)  The Antichrist being revealed

2)  Wars and rumors of wars

3)  Famines

4)  Pestilences

5)  Martyrdom of the saints

6)  Signs in the heavens

Vision #2: The Church Defined (Chapter 7 of “Revelation 7x7”)

This Vision is contained in Revelation, chapters 7 and 11. It tells of three ways the church is symbolically described – or defined. It ends with the Two Witnesses being resurrected (Rev. 11:12) and Jesus taking final control at the sounding of the Seventh and Last Trumpet (Rev. 11:14-15).

The three symbolic definitions of the Church are:

1)  The 1440,00 and the Great Multitude

2)  The Temple within and without

3)  The Two Witnesses

Vision #3: The Church Protected (Chapter 8 of “Revelation 7x7”)

This Vision is contained entirely in Revelation, chapter 12. It tells of God’s plan of protection for his Church in the time of the end through the use of a woman who symbolizes that Church – and more. It ends with God’s people on earth being protected while Satan pours out his wrath (Rev. 12:14-17).

Vision #4: God’s Wrath Announced (Chapter 9 of “Revelation 7x7”)

This Vision is contained in Revelation, chapters 8 and 9 - and spills over into the end of chapter 11. Seven Trumpets sound announcing that God’s wrath is to come. It ends with Jesus taking final control at the sounding of the Seventh and Last Trumpet (Rev. 11:14-15). God’s wrath is being announced as the Church is being defined and the Two Witnesses testify and prophesy (See Vision #2).

Vision #5: The Two Beasts and Babylon (Chapters 11-14 of “Revelation 7x7”)

This Vision is contained in Revelation, chapters 13; and 17 through 19. It is presented in four parts: one part in each of four chapters in Revelation 7x7: “The Evil Within,” “The Evil Without, Part I,” “The Evil Without, Part II,” and “The Call and the Fall.” It tells of the evil that will be loosed on the earth in the time of the end. It tells of the kingdom of the Antichrist – and of the relationship between the Antichrist and Babylon. It tells of the Fall of Babylon and God’s call to his people in that time. It ends with the Return of the Lord in Revelation Chapter 19.

It speaks in detail of the following:

1)  The Beast from the Sea

2)  The Beast from the Earth

3)  The Mark of the Beast

4)  The Deadly Wound

5)  The 7 Heads

6)  The 10 Horns

7)  Ancient Babylon

8)  Prophetic Babylon

9)  The Fall of Babylon

10)  God’s Call to His people

Vision #6: Salvation and Judgment (Chapter 15 of “Revelation 7x7”)

This Vision is contained entirely in Revelation, chapter 14. It tells of five important events that mark the time of the end. It ends with the Harvest of the Earth and the judgment of God (Rev. 14:14-20).

The five events are:

1)  The Sealing of God’s People

2)  The Everlasting Gospel

3)  The Fall of Babylon

4)  The Mark of the Beast

5)  The Harvest

Vision #7: God’s Wrath Demonstrated (Chapter 16 of “Revelation 7x7”)

This Vision is contained in Revelation, chapters 15 and 16. It tells of the wrath of God that is poured out on the earth by way of the Seven Vials. It ends with the Seventh and Last Vial of God’s wrath and the judgment of Babylon (Rev. 16:17-19).
