Bennett Village is a small Not-for-Profit Long Term Care Home and Life Lease organization located in Halton Hills, Ontario. Our Long Term Care Home has 66 residents and The Gallery, a Life - Lease Residence has 105 mitted to the Values of Dignity, Respect, Compassion, Teamwork, Trust, Quality and Leadership, we seek an experienced individual to manage our financial and administrative functions.
Position Summary:
Reporting to the C. E.O., the Manager of Finance and Administration will effectively and efficiently manage and oversee the Financial and Administrative functions of the Long Term Care Home and the Financial Reporting of the Life Lease operations.
Qualifications:
· University Degree in accounting or business administration.
· Recognized accounting designation: C. A., C. G.A. or C. M.A.
· Knowledge of Long Term Care legislation and M. O.H. reporting requirements, C. R.A. reporting requirements.
· Understanding of accounting, payroll and other software such as P. C.C., Staff Schedule Care and A. D.P.
· Five to seven years financial management and leadership.
Major Responsibilities:
· Financial accounting and reporting.
· Payroll preparation and administration.
· Budget preparation.
· Project management accounting.
· Accounts receivable/ payable.
· Financial analysis.
