Мастер – класс «Веселые минутки»

Мы все сейчас много говорим о здоровье сберегающих технологиях. Как научить и при этом не перегрузить? Особенно, если речь идет о старшеклассниках. Ведь не будем же мы заниматься зарядкой в 8-11 классах. То, что с удовольствием делают ребята в младших классах ( мяч, зарядка, песни ), не всегда приемлемо в старших.
Я предлагаю вместо физических упражнений – тренинг « Веселые минутки» (Breaks ). Несколько минут релаксации -
расслабления после напряженной умственной деятельности. Цель ее – снять напряжение, дать детям небольшой отдых, вызвать положительные эмоции, хорошее настроение, а заодно и возможность расширить свой словарный запас без лишних усилий.
Break 1.
Учитель задает вопросы ( лучше заранее написанные, чтобы срабатывала еще и зрительная память.)

Шекспир англ. поэт или музыкант? Эмили Дикенсон – поэт амер. или англ.? Как называют жителей Ирландии? Как называют жителей Шотландии? На каком языке говорят а Америке? Как называют шотландскую овчарку? Столица США? Столица Англии? Джеймс Кук исследователь или пират Кем работала Мэри Поппинс? Кто Эдди Мерфи по профессии? Родина футбола? Не для кого не секрет, что в русском языке очень много английских слов, а сколько русских слов в английском? После того, как некоторые слова будут названы, можно задать еще один вопрос: « Почему эти слова вошли в английский язык калькой, т. е. фонетическим звучанием.

На доске написано предложение( Tommy Andrews says the teacher is a silly cow ) Далее звучит рассказ, потом ребята пробуют сами расставить запятые.
Далее даны еще несколько вариантов подобных предложений.

Punctuation can often say quite a lot.
One day, as a teacher walked into the classroom, she heard Tommy Andrews whisper to the boy next to him.: “ Here is the teacher. I’ll bet the silly cow is going to talk about putting in commas. The teacher said nothing but began to talk about putting commas and explained how important they could be. To show what she meant she wrote the sentence on the blackboard. “ Tommy Andrews says the teacher is a silly cow. The class laughed and Tommy Andrews looked very red. “ Now “ said the teacher “ I’ll show you how important commas are “ She put two commas into the sentence and it now read “ Tommy Andrews, says the teacher, is a silly cow”
Now the task : Put the commas to these sentences
1. King Charles the First walked and talked half an hour after his head was cut off.

На этой веселой переменке можно сначала повторить правила чтения буквосочетаний. А потом предложить записать слово, использовав данные буквосочетания
Just imagine that the word “potato” could be spelled as “GH-OUGH-BT-EIGH-BT-EAU’
