«Практический курс речевого общения»

Изучение тематической лексики и речевых образцов по каждой теме. Составление диалогов по ситуациям.

1.  You attract the attention of the stranger to ask him (her) a question or inform him (her) about smth.

2.  You ask your acquaintance or a stranger what language he (she) can speak.

3.  You ask your porter to speak so that she can understand him (her).

4.  You find out a persons name and title.

5.  You find out who among others is the person whom you know by name.

6.  You find out what country your new acquaintance comes from, what town he (she) lives in.

7.  You exchange a dress with your new friend.

8.  You meet foreign guests (students, colleagues) in your country; you introduce yourself or other people; you are introduced by your friend.

9.  You find out from a friend of yours which is the best hotel to stay in; registering at a hotel; you have a talk with the receptionist (desk-clerk, chambermaid, other personal).

10.  You are dining (having breakfast) at a restaurant (café); looking through the menu and having a talk with a waiter; you choose meals and order them; you pay the bill.

11.  When we want to by smth we must go to the shop where it is sold; in the shop window we see what is sold in the shop.

12.  You are at the post office, you want to send a letter (registered letter, a cable, a postcard, a parcel)
