Цель урока – совершенствование навыков монологической речи по теме «Фестиваль. Праздники», расширение кругозора по страноведению.
Задачи – активизировать новые ЛЕ по теме «Праздники», совершенствовать навыки работы с текстом.
Тип урока – урок открытия нового знания.
По плану урока предполагается прослушивание лекции о фестивале с опорой на презентацию, выполнение различных лексических упражнений, работа с текстом и подготовка к составлению монологических высказываний. Актуальные и интересные материалы, познавательный характер текста, множество фотографий, подробные комментарии и тренировочные упражнения позволяют использовать данный материал в качестве удачного дополнения к любым учебникам английского языка. Формы работы могут быть групповыми, парными и индивидуальными. Урок рассчитан на 1 академический час. В качестве домашнего задания детям может быть предложено составление рассказа (устно) или написание очерка в газету о фестивале.
