III. Text “Libraries”
1. There are many big and small libraries everywhere in our country. They have millions of books in different languages. One can find there the oldest and the newest books.
2. Schools and colleges have their own libraries. Pupils and students come to the library to take books on different subjects.
3. The college library where Oleg studies is good. It is a large clean room on the ground floor. There are four big windows in it. The walls are light blue. There are a lot of shelves full of books. You can find the ones both in humanities and exact sciences. There are lots of volumes on special subjects as well.
4. The students of Oleg’s college study foreign languages – mainly English, German and French. Oleg borrows books and magazines from the library. He often goes to the library reading hall and takes the books for his studies. The reading hall is equipped with computers that college teachers and students may have at their disposal.
5. On the walls you can see pictures of the greatest writers and poets. On the table near the window you can always see beautiful spring and autumn flowers.
6. Oleg likes to go to the library. He always finds there something new, something he needs.
