Цели:

·  Активизировать речемыслительную деятельность.

·  Развивать все виды речевой деятельности с помощью проектной технологии.

·  Закрепить лексический материал по теме “Какие мы?”.

·  Воспитывать межличностные отношения.

Задачи:

·  Обучающие:

o  практика речевой деятельности (монологической, диалогической, аудирование);

o  обучение рецептивным видам речевой деятельности;

o  активизация лексики по теме;

o  повторение и закрепление грамматического материала (степени сравнения прилагательных, Past Simple);

o  формирование и развитие коммуникативных умений (воспринимать на слух и понимать краткие сообщения, письменно оформлять несложную информацию);

o  расширение словарного запаса.

·  Развивающие:

o  развивать мышление, умение дать оценку, высказывать свое мнение на английском языке;

o  интеллектуальное развитие;

o  развитие творчества, фантазии, воображения;

o  развитие сенсорного восприятия.

·  Социо-культурные:

o  развитие образного мышления, эрудиции;

o  расширение кругозора.

·  Воспитательные:

o  формирование уважения и интереса к изучению английского языка;

o  воспитание чувства толерантности;

o  воспитание культуры общения;

Оборудование: Аудиокассета с песней «I’ve got a body», мультимедийный проектор, карточки с чертами характера, пословицы и поговорки, знаки зодиака, проекты учащихся, модель телевизора, тексты с картинками для чтения, фломастеры.

Teacher 1. Good morning, smiling faces! Glad to see you! Sit down, please. How are you? Feeling friendly? You are welcome. We are going to have a very interesting topic today “What are you like?”. We’ll know more information about your teachers, your classmates, their appearance, characters, hobbies and interests. You are divided into two groups. Each group will get some tasks.

Let’s begin with our song “I’ve got a body”.

I’ve got a body,

A very busy body

Teacher: Each group has some cards with personal characteristics. Your task is to divide them into positive and negative ones.

Teacher: I think it’s important to look great. People should take care of their appearance and worry about how they look. There are many proverbs about that. Match the proverbs and their Russian equivalents. Find the pictures to illustrate them.

Teacher: You have some pictures with star signs on your tables. Listen to the descriptions of the people and find their star sings.

1.  People are careful and helpful. They like working in the garden. They like cooking food. (Taurus)

2.  People are serious and sociable, but shy. They work a lot, have got a lot of friends, and want to have a good job. (Capricorn)

3.  People are confident, have a sense of humour. They are often interested in history. (Cancer)

4.  People are honest, careful about their clothes. The like buying presents for their friends. (Leo)

5.  People are funny and clever. They are interested in books. They like travelling and chatting with friends. They talk a lot. (Gemini)

Teacher: Each group has prepared some descriptions of your classmates.

Pupil 1:I want to tell you some words about my classmate. Guess, please. What is her name? She is a good student. She is good at English. I think she is clever. She always does her homework. Our English teacher likes her. We spend a lot of time together at school. And she is very helpful, sociable, has a lot of ideas. I can trust her. She is honest. Everybody likes her. What is her name?

Pupil 2And I want to tell you some words about my classmate too. He is the tallest boy in our class. He isn’t good at all school subject, but his favourite subject is Physical Training. He is Pisces. He was born on the 9th of March. He is a bit lazy, but quiet. He likes helping his friends. What is his name?

Teacher: Your next task is to read the texts, find monsters and colour them.

Teacher: Let’s have a rest. You’ve learned the rhymes. Will you recite them?

Teacher: Your hometask was to do projects “Our teachers” and “Our class”. You were divided into two groups. The first group was to find the information about your teachers, the second about your classmates. Let’s begin to present the general information.

Group 1

Pupil 1: There are 19 pupils in our class: 11 girls and 8 boys. Three students have got excellent marks. They are Yudina Yulya, Mamedova Sunsala and Fedoseeva Yulya.

Pupil 2: Seven pupils of our class are with dark hair and nine with fair hair. 4 pupils have got curly hair and 15 pupils have got straight hair. Hair style is from short to long.

Pupil 3: The pupils of our class have got eyes of different colours. 4 students have got blue eyes. There are 2 pupils with grey eyes, 13 with brown eyes.

Pupil 4: The height of the students is from 127 to 170. The tallest boys are Abdurakhmanov Deny and Kuvshinov Kirill. The shortest boy is Cheban Artyom. The tallest girl is Bodyan Inna. The shortest girl is Kamchatkina Zhenya. 5 pupils in our class are of the same height.

Teacher: Now, we know that the students in your class are different. They are attractive and good-looking. But what are they like? What do their star signs say?
There are 12 star signs. But pupils of your class belong to only 10. There are no Tauruses and Gemini in your class. The most pupils belong to Virgoes and Arieses. What do the astrologers say about people who belong to these signs?

Pupil 5: 2 pupils in our class are Capricorns. People are serious and sociable, but shy. They work a lot, have got a lot of friends and want to have a good job. Ksusha and Liana are really Capricorns. 2 pupils are Aquariuses. People are friendly and cheerful, they have a lot of brilliant and crazy ideas. They like to be different. In my opinion Sasha and Yulya are the best Aquariuses in our class.

Pupil 1: 1 pupil in our class is Pisces. People are quiet, a bit lazy. They like helping other people. They are good at art. To my mind Deny looks like that. 3 pupils in our class are Arieses. People are generous, bossy, a bit selfish. They are often angry and bad – tempered. They like sports. To my mind Nastya, Arkady and Zhenya look like that.

Pupil 2: 1 pupil in our class is Cancer. People are confident, have a sense of humour. They are often interested in history. I think Sunsala looks the same. 2 pupils in our class are Leoes. People are honest, careful about their clothes. They like to buy presents for their friends. I think Anya and Inna look the same.

Pupil 3: There are 3 Virgoes in our class. People are critical, helpful and good friends. Untidy people annoy them. To my mind Denis, Artyom and Ruvshan look like that. 2 pupils in our class are Libras. People are energetic or lazy, but pleasant. Clothes are important to them. They like dancing. In my opinion Nastya and Sasha are really Libras.

Teacher: And now will you tell us about the teachers?

Gorup 2

Pupil 1: There are 22 teachers in our school. 11 of them work in our class. The teachers have got eyes of different colours. 9 teachers are with brown eyes, 7 teachers have got green eyes and 6 teachers have got blue eyes. 9 teachers of our school have got fair hair and 13 with dark hair.

Pupil 2: The height of the teachers is from 150 to 178. The shortest teacher is Panfilova Lubov Vasilyevna. The tallest teacher is Galochkin Maxim Vyacheslavovich. 6 teachers are of the same height.

Pupil 3: There are 12 star signs. But teachers of our school belong to only 11. There are no Capricorns. The most teachers are Aquariuses, Arieses, Sagittariouses, Gemini, Scorpioes.

Teacher: It’s the time for the news. Our correspondent Fedoseeva Yulia is in the street of Surgut. Yulya, do you heаr me?

Pupil: Yes, I want to ask some people about their favourite teachers at school. As for me, I had a favourite teacher. (Рассказывает о любимом учителе). Oh, I see a man. What is your name? What is your job? Did you have a favourite teacher at school?

Учащиеся представляются бизнесменами, врачами, менеджерами, учителями и рассказывают о своих любимых учителях в прошедшем времени.

Pupil 1: My favourite teacher was Kuzmina Nina Vasilyevna. She was not young. She was slim. Here eyes were grey and her hair was brown and short. She taught us Geography. Her favourite dish was pizza. She was not young but very nice. We liked her lessons very much.

Pupil: What was her hobby?

What was her favourite film?

What was she interested in?

«Корреспондент» беседует с несколькими «прохожими». Один из них представляется учащимся школы №23 и рассказывает о любимом учителе в настоящем времени.
