Сценарий внеклассного мероприятия “Christmas is coming”

Цели: знакомство с традициями и обычаями англоговорящих стран, использовать речь, адекватную ситуации общения; пробудить и поддержать интерес к изучению английского языка; осознание реалий иноязычной культуры, развитие навыков работы в группе; развитие творческого потенциала и талантов учеников; развитие актерского таланта у учеников.

Ход мероприятия:

(Сцена разделена на две площадки: Дом и Улица, чтобы были видны все события, которые происходят одновременно в доме и на улице)

I act

Mother: “ Girls, help me to clean the house”

Children comes to help

Emily: I don’t want to clean the house. I’d better play outside (and goes outside to watch the snowflakes)

Song: “Little snowflakes (Super Simple Songs - Christmas CD)”(Pupils sing staying on the scene, the girls-snowflakes are dancing around the hall)

II act

Mother: Girls help me to decorate the house

(family is decorating the house to the song “O, Christmas Tree (Aretha Franklin)”

At this time, Emily is making snowman outside)

III act.

Mother: Girls, help me to make a figgi pudding

(Girls goes away from stage, Emily comes out)

Emily: I’m tired (sits on the armchair)

(at this time outside.. snowmen appear and sing song “I’m a little snowman (Super Simple Songs - Christmas CD)” )

IV act

Snowflakes: Look! The snow queen (The snow queen appears on the scene)

Queen: Oh! My dear snowflakes! Oh my dear snowmen!

Snowflakes and snowmen: Dear Queen, look what a lovely house, what a lovely smell

Queen: Let’s go and ask for that tasty treat.

(All together is approaching the house and sing: “We wish you a Merry Christmas (Super Simple Songs - Christmas CD)”)

V act

Mother: Emily, take a pudding and give it them

(Emily takes some bread and salt instead of pudding and goes out to carolers)

Queen/snowmen/snowflakes: Dear girl, we are carolers. Give us some pudding.

Emily: (throwing the loaf of bread) Take it, it’s enough for you

(Queen is angry. The snowstorm starts)

Queen: Emily, you are a bad girl, that’s why you’ll never meet Santa and you’ll never ever get your presents

(Snowflakes, queen, snowmen are flying around the hall)

VI act

Emily’s sisters: (crying) Emily, shame on you! No Christmas! No New Year! No holidays! No Santa! No presents! We’ll tell parents, and they will be angry with you!!!

Emily: Stop crying. I will find Santa! ( Takes her bag and goes outside)

VII act

(Emily runs into Rudolf)

Emily: Who are you?

Rudolf: I’m Rudolf, Santa’s reindeer. I’m tired and I’m very hungry. Can you feed me, please?

Emily: Yes, take it..( giving the bread to Rudolf. He is eating) Tell me about you…

Rudolf is singing “Rudolf, the red nosed reindeer(Frank Sinatra)” and walking around the hall taking together with other reindeers.

VIII act

All together: Santa, Where are you?

Santa: I’m here

Emily: I’m so glad to see you!!!! Christmas is coming, but you are here. Let’s go, hurry up!

ХIХ act

(They are driving on sledge from the forest to home and singing “Santa Clause is coming to town (Frank Sinatra)”)

Family meets. All people are happy. Santa puts the presents under the Christmas Tree.

And all together sings “ We wish you a Merry Christmas(Super Simple Songs - Christmas CD)”

Rudolph, Rudolph, Rudolph, the red-nosed reindeer 
had a very shiny nose. 
And if you ever saw him,
