Цели мероприятия:
Научить учащихся употреблять лексические единицы по теме в речи;
Развить навыки употребления тематической лексики в речи, развить навыки чтения текста и понимания прочитанного;
Познакомить учащихся с традицией празднования Дня святого Валентина в Британии.
Activities
Teacher: Good afternoon, dear pupils. I am sure you know what day it is today.
Pupils: Yes, we do. Today is St. Valentine’s Day, the day of love!
Teacher: You are right. And I have many interesting tasks for you to do.
Task I. Study the vocabulary on the list and fulfill the word search.
Task 2. Study the vocabulary on the list. Fill in the gaps with the words below. All the words should mach the gaps.
Task 3. Make the words on the topic from the letters given.
Task 4. Read the text about February 14th and answer the questions.
Task.5 Draw a Valentine card for your mum or dad (templates are given), colour it and when coming home, give it as a present.
