Викторина «Знаешь ли ты Великобританию?»

( предназначена для учащихся 8-9 классов)

Цель:

- воспитание уважительного отношения к стране изучаемого языка

- расширение кругозора

- стимулирование интереса учащихся к изучению английского языка.

Задачи:

- развивать умение воспринимать информацию на слух

- совершенствовать умение отвечать на вопрос

В викторине могут принимать участие 2 команды. На доске 4 таблицы. В каждой по 9 цифр. Цифре соответствует вопрос. Учащиеся выбирают таблицу и номер вопроса. Одна из цифр содержит 3 вопроса. Количество правильных ответов соответствует количеству баллов. Перед викториной проводится презентация по теме «Великобритания».

Организационный момент

Ведущий: Good afternoon! I am glad to see you at «Who? What? When? Where? »  You have already got much information about Great Britain: its people, customs, traditions, way of life, sights/ We have read books, watched films. Before we start our quiz let is watch a presentation. And now it is time to know who learnt more about Great Britain.

At the blackboard you can see 4 tables Whо? What? When? Where? with 9 squares in it. They are numbered. Each number means a question. Your team chooses a number and answers  a question. Remember that you should give full answer. Besides in each table is one square which contains not  one but three questions. This square is called «Surprise». If you can not answer the question your opponent can give the answer and get additional point.

(данную игру можно провести как между командами одного класса, так и из параллели в 5 – 6 классах)

Ведущий – Miss Grammar. Она ведёт игру и выдаёт ключи. 1 команда – Grammar Learners, 2 команда – Grammar Users.

Цель:

- воспитание межличностных отношений, культуры общения

- расширение эрудиции учащихся

- развитие интереса к учению и формирование познавательной активности.

Задачи:

- повышать интерес к изучению английского языка

- расширять кругозор учащихся и приобщать к культурному наследию страны изучаемого языка

- развивать внимание, память, наблюдательность.

Dear friends/Let me introduce myself. My name is Miss Grammar. I an from Grammarland. I want you to travel with me to Grammarland and to visit this Grammar Castle. When you visit it you will know much more about English Grammar. But the way is not easy there. You should do some tasks and after that you will be able to come into it.

2.Проведение игры.

Task 1 – Is, am,  are

Miss Grammar. At first you should remember what the forms of the verb to be in Present are.

Task 2. –What are you going to do?

Miss Grammar. Now you should answer my questions – What are you going to do in Grammarland?

(учащиеся по очереди отвечают на вопрос, употребляя структуру. Можно дать карточку с глаголами, из которых можно составить предложения)

Sing English songs, answer the questions, fly, swim. Speak English, jump, read Russian, learn English poems by heart, do exercises, draw, sleep, translate text, improve English, learn grammar rules, learn irregular verbs, write English, play English games, study P. E.

Возможные ответы учащихся:

Task 3 – Irregular verbs

Miss Grammar. Do you know English verbs? What is the irregular verb? What is regular verb? The captains of our teas should give the three forms of the verbs.

3.Подведение итогов.

Miss Grammar. I see that your teams did my tasks very well. But the team….is the best. It has more keys than other one. So it has a right to come to our Grammar Castle.

( внеклассное мероприятие проходит в форме состязаний между двумя командами 5 классов, по 5 человек)

Цель:

- стимулирование интереса учащихся к изучению английского языка

- расширение знаний, умений и навыков в овладении иноязычной коммуникативной деятельностью

- воспитание умения  работать в команде

Задачи:

- совершенствование навыков аудирования

- активизировать употребление лексических единиц в речи.

Ход мероприятия

1.Организационный момент

Good afternoon, my dear friends. How are you? Today we are having a very nice evening, aren’t we? Your teams and captains will compete in different tasks. The names of our teams are – The Break, Good Marks. Our jury will give you points. At the end we shall know who is the cleverest.

2.Проведение конкурсов.

Конкурс 1. Скороговорщики.

The first task is reading a tongue – twister. You should read as much as quicker. Be attentive with sounds and intonation.

(раздаются карточки, на которых написаны скороговорки.)

To begin to toboggan first, buy a toboggan.

Конкурс 5. Переводчики.

( От каждой  команды  выходит  участник. На столе лежат карточки с фразами. Вытягивая по одной поочерёдно, учащиеся читают словосочетания и переводят на русский язык.)

Конкурс 6. Хвастуны.

(участникам команд необходимо составить предложения, используя степени сравнения прилагательных с данными словами.)

Например: Pupil 1 – I am clever.

Pupil 2 –I am cleverer.

Pupil 3 – I am the cleverest.

At The Station

(внеклассное мероприятие по английскому языку для 4 класса)

Цель: проверить знание слов, грамматики, навыки чтения слов, транскрипции.

1 конкурс: Приветствие.

(3балла)

Название команды, эмблема. Рассказывает каждый член команды по цепочке.

2конкурс: A Station »Merry Alphabet»

(3балла)

А) Каждый член команды по очереди записывает буквы английского алфавита (кто быстрее и правильнее)

Б) Учитель показывает карточки со словами каждой команде – назвать слово по буквам ( по 2 карточки каждой команде).

Каждой команде даётся карточка со словами. Правильно прочитать слова.

4 конкурс: A Station «Words».

а) На столе учителя карточки с русскими словами. Каждая команда берёт 10 карточек и переводит на английский язык.(10 баллов)

-мясо, большое спасибо, дочь, длинный, туманный, река, лес, бежать, петь, считать, играть, солнечный, холодный, читать, толстый, играть в шахматы, белый, забавный, кататься на лыжах, умный, кататься на санках, дождливый.

б) На доске написаны цифры, которые соответствуют номеру буквы в английском алфавите. Составь слово. Кто быстрее? (3 балла)

Капитан берёт карточки с русскими предложениями. Переводит вся команда, а читает ответ кто-то один.

- У меня 2 брата. Он любит кататься на лыжах. Ты любишь играть в футбол? Сколько лет твоей маме? Как зовут твоего брата? У тебя есть собака? Сегодня тепло. Холодно. Где ты живёшь? Здравствуйте. Не хотите ли кофе?

6 конкурс: A Poetic Station (5баллов)

За 5 минут придумать как можно больше рифм:
