Сценарий праздника
Teacher: Good morning, dear boys and girls.
Children: Good morning, dear teacher.
Teacher: Now you may sit down. That’s fine. I want to see if all the letters of the English Alphabet are here.
( 26 ребят, каждый из которых изображает одну букву английского алфавита, встают и по очереди, в алфавитном порядке выходят на середину и рассказывают рифмовку про свою букву.)
Teacher: You are welcome, letters!
(У каждого ребенка картинка с изображением буквы.)
Letter Aa:
Aa is for apples and apple-trees. You can see apples and apple-trees.
Letter Bb:
Bb is for books and for bookcase, I have many books in my bookcase.
Letter Cc:
Cc is for cat. My cat is grey, and with me it likes to play.
Letter Dd:
Dd is for dog and doggy. I have a dog, not a doggy.
Letter Ee:
Ee is for eight and for eleven. How much is eight and eleven?
Letter Ff:
Ff is for flowers: red and blue, white and yellow and rosy too.
Letter Gg:
Gg is for girl, and also for garden. I see a girl going to the garden.
Letter Hh:
Hh is for hand. I have two hands. This is the way I clap my hands.
Letter Ii:
Ii is for I. I’m a boy, and I’m ten. I like to play with my brother Ben.
Letter Jj:
Jj is for jam. This is apple jam. Jimmy likes it, and so does Sam.
Letter Kk:
Kk is for Kite. Kate has a kite. It is little and it is white.
Letter Ll:
Ll is for letter. This letter is for me. It is from my sister, as you can see.
Letter Mm:
Mm is for May and for May Day, for Match and for Mother’s Day.
Letter Nn:
Nn is for nine, ninety and ninety - nine. Children, how much is ninety and nine?
Letter Oo:
Oo is for one. One and two is three. Three little cats are in a tree.
Letter Pp:
Pp is for pencils. With them I can draw; a red pen, a green tree or a blue door.
Letter Qq:
Qq is for questions: How are you? How old are you? And How do you do?
Letter Rr:
Rr is for red. Many things are red. What can be red? Do you Know, Fred?
Letter Ss:
Ss is for street. This is my street. There are a lot of trees in my street.
Letter Tt:
Tt is for Tick and for Tock. “Tick - tock,” says the clock.
Letter Uu:
Uu is for under, but not for at. “I’m under the tree,” says Pat.
Letter Vv:
Vv is for five and also in seven. It is in twelve and in eleven.
Letter Ww:
Ww is for winter when it is cold. But I like winter and I like cold.
Letter Xx:
Xx is in six. Let’s count up to six! One, two, three, four, five, sis!
Letter Yy:
Yy is for a yard where children play. They play in the yard every day.
Letter Zz:
Zz is for the Zoo. Let’ go to the Zoo. I like to go to the Zoo. And you?
Teacher: Now, let’s sing a song “The ABC”.
(Дети поют песню про алфавит.)
Teacher: Now sit down all of you. Let me see how well you know the English alphabet.
(Дети усаживаются на свои места. Учитель проводит несколько конкурсов на лучшее знание английского алфавита.)
Say what letters are missing :A B C E F H (D, G) I J M N P ( K, L, O) and so on.
На листе бумаги алфавит с пропущенными двумя - тремя буквами. Выигрывает тот, кто быстрее назовет пропущенные буквы.
Let’s play the game “Taking Steps”.Участвуют трое ребят, которые становятся на расстоянии шести шагов от учителя. Учитель показывает поочередно карточку с английским словом и говорит: “Spell the word, please.” Если ученик правильно называет слово, то он делает шаг вперед, если ошибается, остается на месте. Выигрывает тот, кто первый доходит до учителя. Для игры можно использовать любые слова.
The games “Letters”.Класс делиться на три команды. Для этого можно использовать расчет на ONE-TWO-THREE. Каждой команде даются 10 карточек с буквами английского алфавита. Задание - расставить буквы в правильном порядке. Выигрывает тот, кто сделает это быстрее и правильно.
Второе задание - составить из этих букв как можно больше слов.
Reading Baseball.На доску вывешивается большой лист со словами на пройденные правила чтения согласных и гласных. Участник из любой команды подходит к листу со словами, берет указку, закрывает глаза и крутится вокруг себя, пока все хором говорят считалку:
One, two, three,
One, two, three.
The cat’s in the cupboard
And you can’t see.
После этого участник указывает слово, открывает глаза и читает его. Если оно прочитано правильно, команда получает балл.
Teacher: I see that you know the ABC? But can you count in English?
Pupils: Yes, we can.
Учитель вызывает одного или двух учащихся из каждой команды и дает каждому задание, например:
Teacher: Count from 1 to 20 and from 20 to1. We’ll see who’ll do it better.
Выигрывает та команда, участники которой считали без ошибок, с лучшим произношением.
Teacher: Three pupils from each team come up to me, please. I want to see which of you is the best at maths.
Учащийся одной команды встает на некоторое расстояние от учащегося другой команды и поочередно каждому из них учитель говорит арифметический пример и кидает мяч. Ученик ловит мяч и дает краткий ответ.
Teacher: You count well. Now, let me see which team knows more English rhymes.
Учащиеся из каждой команды поочередно рассказывают английские рифмовки.
I am tall like a house, Together, together,
I am small like a mouse, Together every day
I am big like a tree Together, together
And now, look at me! We work and play.
My cat is black “Tick!” the clock says,
My cat is fat “Tick, tick, tick!
My cat likes rats What you have to do
Rats are grey and fat. Do quick!”
Why do you cry, Willy? Rain, rain go away,
Why do you cry? Come again another day.
Why, Willy? Why, Willy? Little Tommy wants to play.
Why, Willy, why?
Teacher: I see you know some rhymes. Now can you sing any English songs? I think you can. So let’s sing a song.
Дети поют песни. (тексты песен и ноты прилагаются) В конце праздника каждому участнику вручается диплом. Праздник заканчивается словами, которые произносятся хором:
We can read, we can write,
We can speak English too.
We love learning English!
