«ПУТЕШЕСТВУЕМ ПО  ВЕЛИКОБРИТАНИИ»

МЕСТО В ОБРАЗОВАТЕЛЬНОМ ПРОЦЕССЕ – ПОВТОРЕНИЕ И ЗАКРЕПЛЕНИЕ СТРАНОВЕДЧЕСКОГО МАТЕРИАЛА

Цели внеклассного мероприятия:
-повторить пройденный учебный материал в неформальной обстановке во время игры;
-подвести итоги по теме: “The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland”;
-повысить интерес обучающихся к изучению английского языка;

- совершенствовать коммуникативные умения учащихся;

- совершенствовать умения аудирования с целью получения необходимой информации;

- развивать умения учащихся отвечать на поставленные вопросы;

- совершенствовать речевые умения по теме;

- обобщить и систематизировать полученные знания по теме.

Оргмомент: сообщение целей и задач внеклассного мероприятия.

Dear friends! Today we are going to have a very interesting lesson-travelling around Great Britain. Our lesson is devoted to the United Kingdom of Great Britain. We are going to talk about geography, history, industry, holidays, cities, ways of life, traditions, customs, hobbies of the British people. I hope you will learn many interesting things at the lesson.

I. Презентация о Великобритании (материалы содержат информацию страноведческого характера, презентация прилагается).

II. Викторина
Состав участников:
•игроки 2 команд (по 8 человек);
•члены жюри (учащиеся 10-11 классов);
•ведущий (ведущим может быть ученик 10-11 класса).
Оборудование:
•карточки с вопросами для ведущего;
•сигнальные карточки для команд;
•секундомер.
Ход и правила викторины:
1.В викторине принимает участие 12 учащихся, по 6 человек в команде.
2.Команды рассаживаются за круглые столы, выбираются капитаны.
3.Викторина состоит из серии  вопросов с  вариантами ответов. На каждый ответ на вопрос дается по 30 секунд. Команда, желающая ответить, поднимает сигнальную карточку. Если ответ неверный, ход переходит команде соперников.
4.Жюри в ходе викторины следит, кто из учащихся в каждом раунде дал большее количество правильных ответов. В конце викторины команда победителей награждается дипломом “Знатоки Соединенного Королевства Великобритании и Северной Ирландии”
