Цели урока:

Совершенствовать навыки монологического высказывания, закрепить навык употребления лексики по теме, развивать навыки говорения, активизировать навыки употребления словообразовательных суффиксов в речи и на письме, развитие навыков аудирования

Задачи:

Учебная: Закрепление употребления  НЛЕ по теме, обучение монологическому и диалогическому высказываниям, развитие навыков аудирования с конкретным пониманием информации.

Развивающая: Развитие речемыслительной деятельности, развитие коммуникативных навыков.

Воспитательная: воспитание уважения к стране изучаемого языка, воспитание уважения к мнению одноклассников.

Образовательная: Знакомство учащихся со знаменитым путешественником Берингом.

Ход урока

1.Организационный момент.

Good morning, students. Today we shall continue our speaking about our topic “Famous travelers”, we shall learn some information about Vitus Jonassen Bering, answer the questions about his life and his discovers, discuss the question why people travel and what are the most popular kinds of travelling.  Remember the suffices and form new words with the help of them. So, let`s start.

I`d  like to travel around the world. Yesterday I saw the dangerous crash. Scientists launched the space ship last year and  it was successful. They want to investigate the world. While traveling you can meet many interesting and different people. Traveling to Africa was an interesting adventure for all students of the group. Father`s business trip helps him to develop business relationships.

5.Развитие навыков аудирования.

Now I want you to give some information about the Russian traveler Vitus Jonassen Bering. While my reading you should make notes about what happened during the following dates

Vitus Jonassen Bering a Russian sailor, an officer of a Russian Navy was born in Denmark, in 1681. Не was the leader of the First and the Second expedition on Kamchatka.

Crossing the straight between Alaska and Chukotka his expedition reached  the coast of North America.

He graduated from Amsterdam where he got good education in 1703.

Since 1725 till 1730 Bering was sent to the First expedition to Kamchatka by Peter the First.

In the 1733 Vitus Bering led his team to the second expedition to Kamchatka. He was sure that America is very close to Kamchatka. In 1741 during his straight in the North West coats of America in winter Vitus Bering died. The straight between Alaska and Chukotka is named after Bering now.
